The State of the Union address has turned into the political version of the Oscars. The only difference is that only one person gets to spout his political bullshit, rather than 20 or 30. since its been a few months for this thread...., let us catch up! Due to "Daily Dementia" & "Biden Boners", this thread got a bit lost, likely due to the fact the title is just plain boring in comparison! so lets just add the debate to the above State of the Union, the Big Guy Presser & the assasination attempt of a former President with vapid response & speech. sheesh...,  |

Amazing the audacity of any politician who uses the phrase "will continue (or get back to) the work for the American people" when embroiled in a scandal.
Clinton wasn't thinking about getting back to work when he used Monica as a humidor. None of them are, they just pivot to that old canard when they believe the American people are too stupid to figure out what they have been doing.

6 days and nobody has seen President Biden. Nobody has seen Jill Biden. All we have is a post on Twitter saying he's not running. They say he's returning to the White House next Tuesday July 30th.

You can see it coming as though it has already happened. After Joe Biden has been out of office for 6 months - or whatever is considered a Kissinger-like "decent interval" - the announcement will come out that physicians caring for him have just discovered that he is suffering from advancing dementia and has recently developed an incurable neurologic condition. My bet is progressive supranuclear palsy, but it might be something as prosaic as Parkinson's.
And the usual suspects will buy it at face value.

I know someone who suffers from Parkinson's, and he had an uncle and brother die of it. He swears the symptoms Biden has are unmistakable.
And whether we call it the Kissinger or Reagan "decent interval" there's plenty of precedent for providing ex-politicians that courtesy of pretending they were fine until right after they left office.
