If a newly installed president is an idiot, he might as well demonstrate it on the first day.

One of Biden's first Executive Orders was to rejoin the Paris Agreement on climate change, a treaty the United States formally exited in November after Trump withdrew in 2017.
Well...not exactly.

So far, over 1000 people have died because of Biden’s mishandling of COVID-19.

Even the President of the U.S. Bishops' Conference concedes that Biden's policies to subsidize abortion will clearly lead to more loss of innocent life.

Only 1 day in office and already cancelled 4200 jobs and pissed of the union overlords. Oh yeah, the unions hate Biden... Hollywood’s Unions Celebrate Inauguration Of President Joe Biden & VP Kamala Harris: “Most Pro-Union President” & “Partner In The White House”“We’re excited for the possibilities awaiting this country today as Joe Biden, who’s pledged to be ‘the most pro-union president,’ takes the helm,” the WGA West said on Twitter. “As we recover from this crippling pandemic, we will unite behind leaders who will fight for us and be our partners in change. Think about the monumental change that can be accomplished when we have a President and partners in Congress who believe in collective bargaining, the importance of accessible healthcare, the value of pension plans and the importance of checking nearly unfettered corporate power.”deadline.com/2021/01/inauguation-hollywood-unions-celebrate-president-joe-biden-vp-kamala-harris-1234677017/Yeah, that's hate with a capital "H". ROFL. Don't you ever tire of being totally wrong?

Only 1 day in office and already cancelled 4200 jobs and pissed of the union overlords. I think the XL pipeline job loss exceeds that, but the good news is the millions of new green jobs that will be created.

Lost all those jobs, made transporting the oil more hazardous, AND pissed of the Canadians... All in a day’s work.

I think the idea is to make oil more expensive again so that green energy is cheap by comparison. Look for off-shore drilling to get shut down again.
Trouble with this approach is we're not yet ready to by entirely green. I think the technology will ultimately get there, but we've got a very long way to go to have cheap, green energy available on any scale.
His moves will get us back to becoming dependent on foreign oil, and that ultimately leads to...war?

You’re probably right about their intent to increase oil prices, but cancellation of the XL pipeline won’t do that, unless something has changed: Last I heard (back when protesting it was a cause du jour), the pipeline was only to be used for transporting Canadian oil to the coast where it is shipped to other countries.

Just signed an ExO to ban drilling on federal land. The good thing about all this rapid signing of these ExO is that we'll quickly see the impact of it all in the pocketbook. It'll be interesting to see how long he'll be supported after that.

Joe Biden is an enemy of the Catholic faith. This fact must be repeated as often as humanly possible. Joe Biden holds himself out as a faithful Catholic, yet he does not believe in the faith’s fundamental teachings about the human person or human sexuality. What’s more, he advances this unbelief in public policy and will now have the full force of the federal government behind this unbelief.
