Temporary destruction of his reputation - but like all things, people have very short memory...

Kavanaugh was destroyed by FALSE allegations... Kavanaugh was confirmed for a seat on the Supreme Court. I'd hardly say he was destroyed by anything. Regardless of the end game, in the "process" he was destroyed. You could say the same about Clarence Thomas but those events both men went through will have ever lasting scars on themselves and family. Not to mention history.

Jesse Kelly is right. The liberal media is only distracting the public from the fact that they spent the better part of last year celebrating Andrew Cuomo and, in the process, helping to cover up the unnecessary deaths of thousands of New Yorkers in nursing homes infected with COVID due to Cuomo's policies.

Nothing better than waking up and reading about Democrat cannibalism...

Reaping the whirlwind. I’m fairly certain that for many of the Democratic Party leaders now coming out against Cuomo that it’s the last thing they wanted to do. However, if they didn’t they would be so undeniably hypocritical that they’d never be able to use that same hammer on those whom they would like to use it in the future. As Doc Holliday said in "Tombstone": "My hypocrisy only goes only so far.”
In a way I suppose it's good that the cancel culture community sees that that pendulum swings both ways. But it does bother me when I see headlines that Cuomo has been accused of "inappropriate touching", without bothering to specify just what the hell that means. Exactly what happened and who is defining what is "inappropriate" and what isn’t? Some go so far as to state that any physical contact - presumably even accidental - qualifies, which is intuitively asinine. But how, for example, are you supposed to know if a closet snowflake feels that patting them on the back or a congratulatory tap on the shoulder is "unwelcome", far less "inappropriate"?
I don’t have much interest one way or the other about a governor of New York, but for the sake of justice I would hope that these accusations are not of the snowflake category……………..Luca

I dislike everything about Andrew Cuomo, and I'm the last one to defend him, but I assume he grew up in an Italian family from Queens, where they all hugged each other and kissed each other on both cheeks. With that said, if Cuomo kisses you on the cheek, it's probably "unwelcome". If he sticks his tongue in your ear, it's "inappropriate".

Hmm. I don't know how they perceive such things at apparently progressive institutions like Mater Dei but - for those of us from Loyola/Santa Margarita/JSerra - if any SOB kisses me on the cheek or sticks his tongue in my ear he's getting an unwelcome and yet entirely appropriate knee in the groin.
Once he is incapacitated on the ground, then we can engage in a philosophical discussion of the definition of unwelcome or inappropriate behavior..................................Luca

There's no reason Cuomo shouldn't be hammered for both issues. Sometimes people are exactly what they look like. Cuomo looks like a thug and a misogynist who should be holding a Department of Corrections serial number in his photos. If they ever film a remake of The Godfather, he should play Luca Brasi. Until then, he should be disgraced and unemployed. I could see him more like Virgil Solozzo than Luca. Not many gals would hang around Luca.

I do not accept that as an excuse (not that you’re offering it as one): That might or might not be how he was raised, but he is now an adult who should be (is?) wholly capable of reading his audience and making appropriate adjustments to his actions.

But Cuomo looks a whole lot like Barzini in “The Gdfather.” by the way, does anybody remember about 15 years ago when somebody posted side-by-side pictures of Troy Thomas and Benito Mussolini and asked “Separated at birth?“ That was one of my all-time favorite posts...............Luca

And I think Sollozzo is still the missing twin brother. All his actions and mannerisms say he's a wiseguy right out of Goodfellas.
