This is such a no-brainer that only a Leftist could oppose it, for the reason that Leftists are so racist that they think: (1) blacks are too stupid to obtain ID; and (2) that blacks are so stupid that they actually believe the first argument.

CVS requires ID in order to receive the COVID-19 vaccine? That's racist.

This is such a no-brainer that only a Leftist could oppose it, for the reason that Leftists are so racist that they think: (1) blacks are too stupid to obtain ID; and (2) that blacks are so stupid that they actually believe the first argument. 75% of all voters are in favor of voter ID, but the liberal left is vehemently opposed to it. So much for the notion that they are pro-democracy.

We must have confidence in our elections. Photo ID is not too much to ask for.

Voter ID is discriminatory, or something like that...

Stand by for heavy rolls... Two bills are simultaneously making their way through the legislature: One in the House, one in the Senate. They both. say the same thing: The So-Called "Corrupt Politicians Act" says the same thing in each version. Just some highlights: - H.R. 1 would use taxpayer dollars to fund career politicians’ campaigns and let them use the money to cover their personal expenses while they run for office.
- Democrats want to cancel states’ voter ID laws and remove basic election security protections.
- This legislation would remove safeguards on absentee voting, allowing anyone to vote by mail without ID or a witness signature.
- States would be forced to keep ineligible voters, such as those who have moved out of the state, on the rolls.
- H.R. 1 would threaten the security of our elections, removing strong safeguards and ballot protections that give Americans confidence in our democratic process.
It would also allow voter registration to be automatically assigned based on an individuals information in any of the government databases (like Drivers licenses, etc), and remove the constraint against felons voting...
and, it has Ted Cruz up in arms “This bill is the single most dangerous bill this committee has ever considered,” www.washingtontimes.com/news/2021/mar/29/say-no-corrupt-politicians-act/

We must have confidence in our elections. Photo ID is not too much to ask for. Only issue is, citizens have been asking, sometimes demanding, for decades. The elite overlords don’t want it.

This is such a no-brainer... I agree about the no-brainer part...what sort of voter fraud are you trying to combat? This law is a solution in search of a problem. Please explain how this law would have helped you prevent "the steal" you cried about so much. I await your cogent response.

Why don't Democrats want black Americans to have their own identification? Sounds like a return to the days when that party perpetuated slavery.

Why do Republicans want to make it more difficult for poor people to vote? Is it because they mostly vote Democrat?
I see you don't have an answer to my previous question about how voter ID would have "stopped the steal". I'm not surprised since it would have no effect at all.

I'm not surprised since it would have no effect at all. - Why do Republicans want to make it more difficult for poor people to vote? Is it because they mostly vote Democrat? They don't: More recent attempts have been to provide free ID. My complaint against the Republicans is, they seem to have given up.
- how voter ID would have "stopped the steal" You don't believe any fraud happened at all, so I don't believe this is a serious question (I don't speak for him, but I imagine this is probably why he didn't answer you the first time).
- HOWEVER, if a person votes more than once, or votes using someone else's name, or if someone stuffs ballot boxes with fake ballots, I believe it is fairly easy to understand how a Voter ID (or requiring ID to register and to vote) would short-circuit such attempts.

Like most things, simplify the situation, what is so difficult, one vote one person, that person a legal LIVING resident in the United States or the state, county or city in which the voting takes place. Your right to vote as a citizen is maybe the single most important right you have, respect it.
You want to ID me for a vaccine now yet wont do so to protect voting rights?
