Either way, looks fairly equal to me.

So Dad, with Hawaii delaying the start of their HSFB until late September, are the Monarchs now down to eight games?

We have yet to determine if the edict applies only to games played in Hawaii, or if it applies to Hawaiian schools playing on the mainland.

According to published reports all practice has been immediately suspended. If true, it's highly unlikely a team could travel without the weeks necessary to prepare for an actual game.

In this state, the teachers' unions are probably too strong and politicians too pussified to prevent another season from fading into oblivion. Why return to the classroom and teach when you have politicians by the testicles and a squeeze will allow you to stay home and get paid for a third year?

Why can't the Governor (Larry Elder?) just fire every last one of the teachers, and bust that union. Reagan did it to to Air Traffic Controllers. Fire them all and make them reapply for their jobs, if they want to. Bust that union!

Most likely a scheduling issue in your case, in the instant case ( as the lawyers say ) both MD and Gorman have an open date on the 20th of this month. Since Gorman is ranked in the preseason at number 12 it would seem to be perfect match if it can be made. I was told the two schools' ADs are in contact, so we'll see.

Mater Dei will leave Aug. 20 open after Centennial game canceled. Considering uncertainty and more postponements likely hope to pick up opponent.

Wait, the game was scheduled for August 20th and they're canceling it two weeks ahead? What? You need a minimum number of practices in order to play a game. Even though the game is 2 weeks away, they can’t practice now and therefore won’t have enough practices to have the game. |
