I gotta agree with Bick. 19 or 20 returning starters. QB is cool as they come. Depth, size, speed and experience is unmatched. Toughest game may come in the preseason.

To be accurate, the Gold Bracket and the Silver Bracket had eight playoff teams each, so the first game was a quarterfinal game. So "coming off a quarterfinal berth" really just means a school didn't finish last in its five-team pool.

To be accurate, the Gold Bracket and the Silver Bracket had eight playoff teams each, so the first game was a quarterfinal game. So "coming off a quarterfinal berth" really just means a school didn't finish last in its five-team pool. but a quarter final berth in the GOLD bracket means you finished top 2 in your pool.... next two went to SILVER and last went home. |

We're #9, we're #9! kinda like second place is the first place loser  bick, never got over to your field, how did it go over there in pool D? we were up and down, mind you it was our first 7v7 this summer, many teams already banked one last week at USC, MD & Warren. We lost to MD and played our best game against Warren in a lopsided win. beat Inglewood and lost to Liberty. Played terrible in that one thought we would win it going in. ya, do you want to head into the silver bracket with a chance to go all the way or go to the gold and draw MD, SJB or MV in opening round. we got MV, they played really well in the win. Thought they looked like repeat winners again this year. MD roll them. |

StM beat us pretty good in game 1
Rancho Cuc got us on a late TD when timekeeper forgot to start the clock
Beat Capo V and CC SD.
Beat Chap easily, and then closer win over St Bonny. Beat Warren without Iamaleva with a late TD catch by Malachi younger brother.
We're not a passing league team like the past 3 years, but we've got a lot of young kids that'll be fun to watch.

Great day at SJB for the "Brave 8". No shame for CDM losing only to the Finalists in SJB and Carlsbad. Alabama commit QB from Carlsbad looked like #1 recruit in country. CDM one score from making a possible final. DANG!! CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET: |

Hey Dad,
I saw a list of teams for the Edison passing tourney and MD was not among them. I was surprised and wasn’t sure if it was a mistake since that is arguably the best passing tourney and MD typically participates (and often wins it). Are they playing in the Edison tournament?

No, we can't. The Edison tournament was pushed back a week this year, so it is right in the middle of our two-week dead period. Right now, we will play in:
Long Beach Millikan Tournament - May 18
L.A. Chargers Tournament - June 22
Mission Viejo Tounament - June 29
