that horrible end of the world covid to DC from texas face any punishment for trying to kill our wonderful politicians ? by lib standards,,,it would be an insurrection
The punishment of abandoning a public office for special interest is impeachable offense that automatically grants the governor of Texas powers to appoint and replace the legislators untl the end of their office term, or a public vote for replacements is held. So we will see if Gov. Abbott does this or not.
There is nothing in the Texas State Constitution about legislators abandoning their offices. There IS Article 3, Section 13, Paragraph A) "When vacancies occur in either House, the Governor, or the person exercising the power of the Governor, shall issue writs of election to fill such vacancies" and, apparently the Speaker of the Texas House does have the authority to strip legislators of their jobs because he has already stripped the (fleeing democrat) Speaker Pro-Tempore of his. The Governor has, also, issued arrest warrants for the democrats, so it remains to be seen what might come of those.

Depends on interpretation of CH 572.08 and State Article 15 better get it right,,,dont want commie joe locking you up for misinformation There are several ways the governor of Texas can punish those deserters of their office.
BTW I'm not afraid of Joe "smells you creepily" Biden. He is more paranoid of what I can do to them, because they asked me how to do this in the first place.
But to let you know since you could be a spy for them, their punishment will happen when I feel like it, and they are done with their crimes against humanity.

Bullcrap like this is more useful when spread on a lawn rather than posted on a messageboard. You should try it.
