Forcing a person to wear a mask is like putting an ear tag on a sheep. It's about identification, control, power and ownership. You mean like forcing someone to wear a yellow star? You didn't come up with this idiocy on your own MDDad...where did you hear this nonsense? Can you explain how wearing a mask signifies 'ownership'? |

IF the vaccine works, there is no need for a mask. Whether the vaccine works or not, - The masks most people are wearing do next-to-nothing in preventing transmission of a. virus.
- Hospitals are paid a lot of money for every COVID patient admitted, AND
- CDC has acknowledged the Hospitalization numbers and the death numbers (at lest for the first year of this) were exaggerated primarily by comorbidity (patient has appendicitis and is treated for appendicitis, but because he also has a positive test for COVID, whether or not the has symptoms, he is counted as a COVID admission).
- Cases of seasonal flu are virtually non-existent because, as CDC also said, some/many/all diagnosed COVID cases might have actually have been flu
- CDC has said vaccine does not prevent acquiring the virus: It makes symptoms less impactful
- IT is possible to have COVID but not have any symptoms, BUT
- it has come out that a significant portion of positive tests have been false positives...
SO- We cannot trust the mitigation measures (masks, social distancing the elite don't do, etc.)
- We cannot trust the vaccine
- we cannot trust the numbers
- Even the numbers they put out (7.4% of the population hospitalized, 1.8% of the population die) do not make this more dangerous than a lot of other COD
- We cannot trust the tests
- We cannot trust the scientists and doctors who work for the government (who keep changing their minds...
IF you still do not recognize this fiasco as something OTHER than a viral pandemic from which we must be protected, there is no further hope for you.

This may very well be the red line in the sand that starts violence against the liberals / gov't here in the US. It was limited to mostly verbal stuff, but mandating someone and his family to inject a substance when there is so much differing opinions by people dedicated to immunology won't end well. |

You know anyone who is moved to violence over a vaccine? Why not over any of the many vaccines we REQUIRE our children to get before they can go to school? Why do you insist on making this a political issue? You think only "liberals" want the vaccine? I don't call people who are against the vaccine "conservatives". Why do you call the vaccine "a substance" as if they're trying to inject you with some random stuff? I truly don't get the outrage Bick...what the heck is your problem with the vaccine? |

If this was air-borne Ebola, or polio - I would be first in line to get an experimental vaccine. For this vaccine (Pfizer and Moderna) there are no long term safety studies. None. The vaccines are brand new on human test subjects. . |

I don't understand why this subject is still under debate. If you want the vaccine, get it. If you don't, don't. We are all adults and these constant efforts to convince people to see it the same way are maddening.

On Monday the FDA, behind closed doors (and amazingly the head of the CDC said the hearing should be open), granted Pfizer approval for their shot. Now there are even more mandates for the "vaccine".
Like Fauci said - we need approval, not just an authorization, to mandate the vaccine.
Also, as a side note: Usually if a particular drug is approved, then other authorized drugs shouldn't be used. What about Moderna or J&J? I suspect those "vaccines" are still being used.

There are ignorant people on both sides of every issue who use every questionable factoid and "study" they can find to convince people their side is right, but the majority of them are on the left. The bottom line is that people who are still terrified of this virus should feel free to get vaccinated, put on a mask and hide under their beds. I'm not responsible for easing their fears.
More and more, that seems to be the defining difference between the left and the right. The right thinks "I should be able to do what I want, and so should you." The left believes, "I should be able to do what I want, and you should be forced to do it too."
