Why give advice to a group that doesn't support our country's best interests?

Still astonishes me that Libertarianism seems so applicable to todays world, The only one that keeps reminding us how simple this way of thinking is... as is....

I have a friend who is a dyed-in-the-wool Libertarian. He and I agree on a lot of things, but there are deal-breakers he supports that will ever keep me from becoming one. Don't get me wrong, I'm NOT saying republicans are better. Just have more issues (on paper) with which I agree... and none of the deal breakers.
That said, however, they way democrats AND republicans are getting nothing done, they way they are all more concerned with their money and influence than they are with my well-being makes such a time as this a good time for the Libertarians to lay aside their passion for deal-breaking issues and take over.

I liked the term or name Larry Elder coined years ago, REPUBLITARIAN! Had I lived in the olden times I surely would have been a "Classical Liberal", more recent time I considered myself a Republican w/ a small "L". In most recent time, that "L" is becoming LARGER.

These guys are talking some sense and I think more and more polling and voting numbers show that minority groups are realizing "BIG GOVERNMENT" in not the answer to their problems.

As a misclassified Independent my entire adult life, I'm not really sure what separates me from being a Libertarian.

I'd MUCH rather have the Tulsi Gabbard's, Joe Manchin's, Rand Paul's and Mitt Romney's running the country instead of this current shit show we're in. Extremists using sellout labels like RINO and DINO are the problem here. It's what set us on this course that badly needs correcting.

The left and right loons can't stand when one of them had the audacity to think for himself, and go against the party agenda.

I think that if Mitt believes what he believes, he should just switch parties. The reason he doesn't is because Utah may not elect him.
I don't see it as a game: I like USC and you like UCLA. Rah rah for the home team.
I used to be a Libertarian until Ron Paul ran for President as a Republican. I finally switched to the R's. I am not a big-tent Republican. If Trump did what Biden did, I wouldn't like Trump. It is about "what they do", IMO.
OK, there is a problem with a small tent. Like the Libertarians would never win . But what is the point in nominating a liberal if you don't agree with him?
