Huge win for the Democrats. The issues I had as a slam dunk for the GOP like crime, price of gas and food, border, more parent control in schools, stopping WW3, homeless, Inflation and transgender craziness was not important to the voters.
I also thought the Covid lockdown mess and now finding out the vaccine could be harmful was a bigger deal.
President Trump failed with his candidates and it looks like his run is over. Ron DeSantis is now the party leader and GOP needs to circle the wagons around him.
It comes down to Az, Ga again.
The biggest shock to me is the Fetterman win.

Biden said we need to be suspicious of the elections. Maybe he knew what was going to happen.

Honestly, when are we (as a nation) just going to move past this "cheating" excuse? Maybe the Republican candidates were that bad?
Our party has more problems than "cheating..."

You're absolutely right, frog. When it comes to marketing their message, motivating their base and getting out the vote, the GOP sucks badly.
For almost two years we heard nothing but glowing predictions of a red wave, a red tidal wave, or a red tsunami. Well, red wave my ass. It just goes to show that those of us who may listen to conservative talk radio like KABC, or watch Fox News, get just as much smoke and bullsh!t blown up our butts as anyone who watches CNN or MSNBC.
Furthermore, I don't recall another week when a national political leader lost as much support, clout or political capital as Donald Trump has in the last five days. And it's almost all self-inflicted because he can't admit to himself or to us that he is not an all-powerful god when it comes to winning elections for himself or others. This guy needs to be sent off into the sunset, whether he likes it or not.

and just like that 4 days later after trailing by 15K votes Karen Bass passes Rick Caruso for Mayor of LA, just at a time that they need a guy like him more than ever. Same thing is about to play out in Nevada and Arizona.

The last time a Republican won when the there was a slow count or problems like this, was in 2018 in Florida. One county had problems, but finally after DeSantis was declared the winner, the county said he was the winner.

Same thing is about to play out in Nevada and Arizona. L.A. is in the crapper. And as far as I'm concerned, that's exactly where they deserve to be because they keep electing and reelecting the same leftists. The hell with them.

Here lies much of your answer, for weeks Democrats are BANKING votes while Republicans rely on voters to show up mostly on one day, election day. This new way of winning elections had caught even the best pollsters, pundits and the public off guard. Public sentiment does not even come close to what is showing up in the vote count. Republicans have had enough cycles to see this and really better start to get with the program or playbook which the Democrats perfected during the Covid years. Democrats have mastered mail balloting. Republicans will pay if they fail to step up www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/columnists/democrat-mastered-mail-balloting-republicans-step-upPITTSBURGH — The first thing Allegheny County Republican Chairman Sam DeMarco saw on election night after the polls closed was the more than 100,000 votes from his home county that dropped for Democrat John Fetterman through mail-in ballots. Although he wasn’t sure just yet that that meant the race was lost, he also knew Republicans needed to fix something in the party’s way of doing things going forward.
“Those initial large dump of voters were mail-in ballots from Democrats,” he said of the advance voting that began in 2020 during the pandemic. Democrats embraced it with gusto, but Republicans shied away.
~
“The biggest takeaway from Tuesday night is that Republican attitudes in regard to mail-in voting needs to change," he continued. "Right now, it’s like we’re running a 100-yard race against the Democrats and giving them a 45-yard head start. Both parties have limited resources, but while they work during the 50 days of early voting collecting and banking early votes ... we’re just collecting promises to show up on Election Day; it’s not sustainable, and Democrats get better at it every cycle."

Goddamn, easy solution. Get rid of mail-in ballots, open more (and accessible) voting places, and do everything by paper.
I don't understand why we have to reinvent the wheel for a process that has worked since the beginning of time.

We don't have to reinvent the process, it's just that a certain faction of leftists want to reinvent the process because they gain almost insurmountable advantages from that.

I meant "we" as in the United States Exactly. A two-month voting cycle allows them to calculate exactly where they need to jimmy the votes to get the results they want. It's the new American reality until someone stands up to it.
