Sounds like a trap. Once the Trump supporters are gathered on the pier, Antifa thugs will blow up the pilings.
Seriously, though, if Trump himself held one of his rallies in SoCal I would definitely try to attend. A few of my students went to his Costa Mesa rally back in 2016. An older couple from my parish also drove down to attend that event as well, but turned around when the angry protesters on Fairview Ave. scared them away.
