Can you imagine trying to pick between the two? The only thing we can hope for is that they split the vote, and a Republican can at least be listed in the General Election. They way the law is written now, we don't have a chance. The top two vote getters get on the GE ballot. Maybe they can split it three ways and the R can get on the GE ballot.

With his India gig seemingly less and less likely, don't be surprised if charlatan Eric Garcetti throws his hat in the ring because he needs a new job where he doesn't have to do anything. And since he really misses his daily photo-ops, why shouldn't Antonio Villaraigosa run as well? That would make it a four-way split. Either way, what is the point of getting a Republican on the general election ballot when he will inevitably be swamped by whoever survives the Democrat race? |
