This would include some former Democrats.
Tulsi Gabbard Jonathan Turley Matt Taibbi Naomi Wolf Thomas Sowell Victor Davis Hanson
They've got a perspective from both sides of the coin that not many do. Because of that, I find them to be more objective.

Tulsi isn't a Dem anymore. She thinks they are tyrants and war mongers. All the others are great too. They see the light. I didn't know Victor Davis Hanson was a Dem, or Thomas Sewell.

Thomas Sowell left the Democratic Party in his early 40's and has now been politically independent from both parties for five decades. Everything he says and writes stems from common sense rather than political bias, and that makes him even more admirable.

It is interesting however to see the wave of new liberal voices shifting much more to the center, closer to Libertarianism. Musk, Rogan, Maher, Greenwald and Taibbi to name some of the more prominent.

They seem to have a more balanced approach v one that's grounded in staunch defense of partisan ideology. Interestingly, it wasn't all that long ago that the term RINO was tossed out by the right, and now the dems are the ones hell-bent on putting people in buckets who aren't lockstep with an agenda. I'm hopeful we'll see more bright people expose the extreme partisan ideologists, and get back to common sense. I think it's the only way to save the country.

Its so ironic we are in the times of "Diversity", the buzz word of choice, yet these two parties want little of it within the party. You think outside the box, you are not in lock-step, your tossed, shunned, labeled. I believe social media, MSM have polarized people so much, divided by easy ways such as race and gender, that not many any longer critically think, listen to opposition nor want to freely debate. Very sad times.

I think of it as opportunistic times when you consider the number of high profile people rejecting partisan politics.
I actually believe there is a FAR greater number of those sick of partisan politics than there are partisans. More people need to stand up and reject partisan ad hominem attacks.
