Speaking of Blade Runners:
Morgan Barron of the NHL's Winnipeg Jets suffered a terrible facial cut near his eye from the skate blade of the opposing goalie two days ago. He went to the locker room and received 75 stitches to close the wound, and then returned to the game after missing less than one 20-minute period. This is in a day and age when NBA and MLB players miss half a season when they chip a nail. Barron is a good example of when men used to be men.
Since the Jets had no game yesterday, he was given the day off.

BTW, that is a lot of stiches close to the eye. Amazing. |
