Congratulations to Tiger Woods on winning his 5th Masters. I've seen it said that he went to Troy HS, and I've seen it said that he went to Western HS. At any rate, the Orange County man just won $2,070,000.
Three strokes back, and tied for 9th, was Servite's Patrick Cantlay who led at one point in the final round, and won $310,500.
Congratulations to both golfers.

I don’t keep track of who is doing what in the Golf world.
That said, however, I did not expect to hear from Tiger woods again. I was shocked to hear his name even mentioned in the Masters...

Not PRO golf, but I didn't think there would be enough interest in HS golf to justify a whole new thread. I didn't know if they could do it this year, because Mater Dei also came into this two game series unbeaten on the season. Congratulations to Servite for winning both games (the last one by only 1 stroke), for their 6th straight Trinity League Golf Championship!

Three OC Golf squads were among the 10 teams attempting to qualify for the state tournament.
Anaheim Discovery Christian finished 2nd with a score of 374.
Servite was 4th at 377.
Mater Dei was 6th at 379.
Unfortunately, I believe only three teams advance, So unless this is more than a one day qualifying tournament, Servite and MD are done for the year. Both had sensational seasons.
