I never could get those damn things to work. I ended up removing the rubber band apparatus and just taped a penny to the nose and threw it.

Hell, had no problem getting it to take off. Just couldn't find it afterwards.

One of my happiest times growing up as a kid , was playing and shooting around with a pom pom gun. They sure had some of the coolest TV toy commercials at the time:
