Democrats are looking at this trial as a campaign strategy. They want to win the election. No wonder the trials are being brought forth by leftist prosecutors.

Democrats are looking at this trial as a campaign strategy. They want to win the election. No wonder the trials are being brought forth by leftist prosecutors. I'm not sure this is a sound strategy. A Democratic ticket with Biden or Harris at the top is very weak, and one with Newsom on top is also beatable because of his radical left ideology and his miserable track record in California. Furthermore, many Republicans and independents who don't like Trump would be much more likely to vote Republican if there were another candidate for president. So unless the Democrats can cheat much more efficiently and on a larger scale than they did in 2020, they may be faced with a loss. On the other hand, Republican election strategists could screw up a wet dream, so we can't count them out when it comes to blowing any election.

How do you think these trials are going to turn out? I would think the Jan 6th trial is there biggest. The Georgia election meddling is falling apart and should never have been brought.
I think they could succeed. If he is convicted, some states might drop him from the ballot. I don't think they should. It is all out war against anyone who will bring their "deep state" money machine down.

I think that's a little like asking how I think a pro wrestling match between Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair would turn out. They may look like trials, but their outcomes will be determined by the powers behind the scenes who are always focused on doing what's best for business. And by business I mean staying on top and screwing the opposition. What is different is that Trump for once is a pawn in this melodrama, rather than being the guy in charge.

I'm not sure how anyone with us exposure to the public can have a fair trial...

The San Francisco DA should bring charges. He would get a fair trial there. Remember, OJ was found Not Guilty.

Judge Halts New York Attorney General's Fraud Trial Against TrumpA New York appeals court judge halted the scheduled Oct. 2 trial in New York Attorney General Letitia James' fraud lawsuit. ...State Justice David Friedman, with the 1st Department of the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, granted an interim stay of the trial—slated to start Oct. 2—and referred the matter to a five-judge panel, which expects to rule in the last week of September, a spokesperson said. He also ordered the full appeals court to consider a reported lawsuit that President Trump had filed against the trial judge, Arthur Engoron, on an expedited basis. President Trump’s lawyers had raised issue with Judge Engoron's refusal to grant a request for a three-week trial delay, which he said (pdf) was "completely without merit." They also asked the judge to pause the trial until he issues a ruling on the statute of limitations regarding certain claims in Ms. James's lawsuit, it was reported. ...In a separate case, President Trump's attorneys earlier this week requested in a court filing that Judge Tanya Chutkan recuse herself, claiming that she made biased statements against their client during the sentencings for multiple Jan. 6 defendants. An Obama appointee, Judge Chutkan is overseeing the federal election subversion case brought against the former president brought by special counsel Jack Smith. "Judge Chutkan has, in connection with other cases, suggested that President Trump should be prosecuted and imprisoned," his filing stated. "Such statements, made before this case began and without due process, are inherently disqualifying." www.theepochtimes.com/us/judge-halts-new-york-attorney-generals-fraud-trial-against-trump-5492121?utm_source=ref_share&utm_campaign=copy
