Is the ultimate end game here to replace God with the state thru the de-valuation of human life by virtue of abortion? If that truly is the thinking, is there any written manifesto of sorts that supports that thinking? I believe that is the end game, but I doubt any of the non-conservative thought leaders would ever write it down. They encourage buy-in by repetition. at the level of most denizens of TOB, though, they just regurgitate what they heard Rachel Maddow (te al) say.

Well the you have it. When a woman gets pregnant, that's not a human being... it's part of her body.
Kinda like a tumor, right?

Growing up, I used to think I was of average intelligence...until people like that made me realize just what average intelligence must actually be.

Liberals have been trying to accept this ridiculous notion since before Roe v Wade. they cannot accept it (But only continue to press it on the rest of us) because they know, with surety, the result of a successful union between a human sperm and a human egg is 1) living, and 2) human. The result is, demonstrably, observably, provably a living human. they give lip service to it only being a “fetus” because they think their conscience over killing an innocent living human will be assuaged if they are successful at de-humanizing the child.

I'm guessing Ms. Quinn hasn't attended many Not a Human Being Showers lately.

Great response here to an abortion advocate who thinks he occupies the moral high ground.

Democrats: pro-choice on slavery in 1845; pro-choice on abortion in 2019

The Alabama bill is a direct response to a few recent developments:
1. The extremes that the abortion supporters have been taking lately (discussing killing babies after they are born, if they survived the abortion attempt, and worse...giving a standing ovation to the passing of such a bill), and
2. Their refusal to allow even the most common sense restrictions (to stop late term abortions), inventing frivolous definitions of "the mother's health" to justify abortions (she'll be stressed about having another mouth to feed).
3. Insisting that illegal abortions are unsafe and dangerous, YET now they want legal abortions to be performed by nurse practitioners, certified nurse-midwives and "physicians' assistants who complete specified training," with no concern for hospital admitting rights. Abortion was supposed to be "legal, safe, and rare." Now all they seem to care about is that it's legal. They don't seem so concerned anymore, about it being safe, and they are not at all concerned about it becoming rare.
The point is that if pro-abortion advocates would have allowed common sense restrictions, the Alabama bill might not have even been raised. The anti-abortion advocates, angry about the rejection of reasonable attempts to restrict abortions so that they are safe and rare and yes, early in the pregnancies, have, in effect, said basically "Fine, if you want to play that way, we'll just go for overturning Roe vs. Wade entirely!"

It would be unfair to say that Democrats in 1860 were "pro-slavery"; they just wanted slavery to be "legal, safe, and rare."

There goes the patriarchy again, telling women what they can and cannot do with their bodies.
Wait a second.....uh, nevermind.

Ain't this the truth.
Correction, Jeffrey Toobin: Roe v. Wade isn't gone yet, but we're getting closer....

Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger was a racist and a promoter of eugenics. Her desire to reduce or eliminate non-white people has largely been fulfilled voluntarily by abortion.

Amazing--and unknown by most people--is that Norma McCorvey, the actual "Jane Roe" in the Roe v. Wade (1973) case, and who passed away in 2017, later become a pro-life advocate. Pass it on.
