Hundreds of students at the STEM School in Highlands Ranch, walked out of an "Interfaith Memorial Vigil," when it turned out to be a political rally put on by the "Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence," complete with anti-gun speeches by US Senator (and 2020 presidential candidate) Michael Bennett, and US Congressman Jason Crow, both Democrats.
"These politicians remind me of ambulance chasers," posted a Utah woman. "Ready to pounce on the next big shooting with their gun control agenda."
After about 30 minutes, hundreds of students from the STEM School stormed out yelling "this is not for us," "political stunt" and "we are people, not a statement."
A Colorado woman posted: "Love this so much! I’m so proud of these students! After some rough political months here in Colorado this was a welcomed sight & hope for our future!"
The students were led to believe it was a memorial to hero student Kendrick Castillo, and the other students that were injured in the attack by two Trump hating, anti-GOP losers, one of whom is transgender.
