The legend of the hard working Mexican is a myth. Like white people, black people, asians & every other race, their group consists of hardworking people, slackers & criminals. The percentage for each in each race is heavily influenced by culture. For example, more mexican men stay with their knocked up girlfriends compared to black men not due to some racial makeup, but due to cultural influence. The myth of the hard working Mexican in construction stems from the number of workers they throw at a job & their willingness to cut corners (again cultural). If you have 23 Mexicans painting a house and they don't do the proper prep work (remove wallplates, etc), of course they are going to get the job done faster than a dozen white, black or other race guys. Speed does not equal hard work. While anecdotal, I can only speak from the experience of my family, and the Mexicans I've ever had working for me in the past 30+ years. It ain't a myth. I don't doubt that your family or the Mexicans you have had working for you in the past 30+ years have worked hard. My point is that it is not genetics that create a hard worker, rather cultural influence. I have worked in various parts of the new construction & remodel industry since 1979. Off the top of my head, the 3 hardest working guys were all different races, one was Mexican, one was White & and one was Black. These three were also all different religions, Catholic, Protestant and Jehovahs Witness. Three guys who stole from us and were eventually arrested were also of different races, two were Mexican and one was White. I have never seen race be the determining factor whether someone worked hard, was a slacker or was a criminal. |

Most don't cross over demanding asylum. That used to be accurate. Today, we are overrun by illegals in these caravans coming up from Honduras and points south. The “crisis” at the boarder is being caused because these thousands have been coached to demand asylum... in some cases, they are being paid, given cell phones to capture “injustices” and provided transportation north through Mexico. there are several organizations here in the U.S., who’s funding BTW can ultimately be traced back to Soros through organizations he directly supports, who are organizing and assisting these caravans. |

"White supremacists" as any significant group in America (outside a few adolescent skinheads) expired by 1968. Even George Wallace repented of his segregationist views by the end of his life. Like the fear of "fascism" and "threats to democracy" this is yet another phony controversy meant to make Donald Trump into Adolf Hitler.

I figure it is more akin to (trying to) inflame rather than an investigative/exposure effort. we see it in calling us “nazis” as well. TBH, I believe these media sources also “investigate” racism with the same intent to inflame news stories rather than actually inform with an intent to mitigate. |
