I was in LA, the fireworks went off for an hour... still Laker Fans getting off so the can talk smack....., another horrible event for 2020, LeBum winning.

It was reported this morning than some "Lakers fans" celebrated by throwing bricks and bottles at the police, vandalizing private property, and looting businesses. Almost 70 of them were arrested. I guess winning an NBA championship is as good a reason as any to maim a cop or steal a flatscreen.

I don't know about the rest of you here, but I'm really bummed about this. Pro sports was always the great unifier. No one gave a damn who you voted for, or what cause you supported when it came to OUR TEAM. Rabid fans, or casual fans came together to cheer on our team(s). For that matter, the same with movies. Now, I can't see a Bronx Tale without thinking what a POS DeNiro is...and I LOVED that guy! Such a bummer. Go Dodgers! |
