There were so many great SNL skits back in the day, but this one is pretty darn close to my all time fav.

"Cowbell" and any of the Jeopardy parodys.
Sean Connery - "I'll take Le Tits Now for $200" Alex Trebeck - "No, that is Let it Snow" Sean Connery - "No it's not. It's a French expression: "Bonjour, Mademoiselle. I'd like to see le tits now!"

There are too many to choose from but since the first entry was from Eddie Murphy I'll add another of his: White Like Me. In this short mockumentary, Eddie Murphy masquerades as a white man around New York City to explore existing racial inequalities. Aired 12/15/84
In light of today's racial hysteria on the Left, this skit is not only hilarious but almost quaint--a relic of a bygone era when people could actually create comedy around racial topics without being demonized as the virtual equivalent of Hitler in a Klan hood. Today's liberals, who are absolutely lacking in humor, would think this skit was a serious confirmation of their white nationalism bogeymen.

I hadn't seen that one. Funny thing - that video is exactly as you said - pretty much everyone could laugh at that stuff back then. Now Eddie Murphy would be called an Uncle Tom for having too much fun with it.
