I had a random talk with my cousin yesterday, he is a moderate guy on almost everything except maybe fiscal policy a bit conservative. His take on all of this is it is us to blame, we have not chosen a real good candidate for President since Reagan. I kinda took a pause and said, "you know, you are probably right".

Not to change the subject, but a relative of mine is a grade school teacher and she posted this today on her Facebook page as the kids read a book titled Frog on a Log. They then after were asked to draw their own vision of a frog doing so..... I couldn't help to chuckle at this and think of you Frog.....  Give it a "click"... I'm thinking "new" avatar! |

Pretty much sums up 2020 and the first week of 2021 thus making a valid and timely avatar for Frog! |

Petty, childish, move on trump's part to skip the inauguration but of course it was expected, and his absence will make it that much more pleasant. Also I do want to say that trump did manage one great accomplishment right here at the end of his one-term presidency...he delivered the Senate to the Democrats. What a great thing to do...kudos to him and his insightful political acumen.  |

He's completely correct. This shit show of incompetent leaders IS our fault. I think the real fault lies in allowing this sensationilizing driven media to have a platform. What reasonably competent person would want to subject themselves to that type of attack? |

He's completely correct. This shit show of incompetent leaders IS our fault. I'm not sure I understand how it's our fault. If 15 turds run in the primaries, all we can do is pick the shiniest turd, right? If you believe the media prevents non-turds from running, how can we change that? |

Why were there 15 turds running for office instead of 15 good leaders?
It would be like if Mater Dei only had local area, Saddleback-esque kids come out for football, instead of the bevy of D1 kids. Same question...why is that?

Why were there 15 turds running for office instead of 15 good leaders? I don't know why. Maybe turds are more attracted to eating at the trough. Maybe good leaders have better things to do. I can see blaming greed, or ego, or the media, but I'm just not sure how it's our fault. |

Sorry fellas. It's a huge bust on his part not to go. If nothing else, smooth transition of power has been our trademark. This lays the foundation for violent transition of power down the road. His parting words should be along the lines of taking responsibility for not ensuring elections were legitimate. Agree with Bick. Another egotistical, bad move. I strongly disagree. Biden is an illegitimate president...the Left robbed us, plain and simple, and while Trump can go through the transition process, he shouldn't legitimize the Biden presidency by attending the inauguration. Biden was probably in on the election fraud, or at least knew it was happening. Probably learned about it from the Chinese who own him. |
