Scorebook Live vs Maxpreps

weak as heck...., so far I do not see CDM even claiming its page? so CIF makes a 5 year pact, dumps relations with Max Preps (whatever relations mean?) yet a very successful program like CDM's hasn't even set up its team page? anyone else have their team participating in the new deal with Scorbook Live?

The CIF State organization and its 10 sections, including the Southern Section, next school year will use Scorebook Live as its official program for compiling scores, schedules, statistics, rankings and for providing live scoring updates.

The 2019-20 school year will be the first year of a five-year arrangement between CIF and Scorebook Live, which will replace MaxPreps as the source of the services.

“We are thrilled to welcome Scorebook Live to the CIF family,” CIF Executive Director Roger L. Blake said in a statement Wednesday. “As we streamline our efforts with the creation and distribution of timely data and content for our member schools, our student-athletes and the broader communities we serve, Scorebook Live will play a pivotal role in realizing – and exceeding – our vision and strategy.”

Southern Section assistant commissioner Thom Simmons said Scorebook Live will increase the availability of results, schedules, standings and more to the member schools and their supporters.

“That’s the hope from us,” Simmons said. “This will be another good source for us to get information out to the general public.”
