but Mexico used to own California, Arizona, and Texas That's one of the great bullshit claims of all time. If American claims to those states are invalid because Mexico owned them first, then Mexican claims are equally invalid because Native Americans were there first. And to be specific, even the term Native American can be considered a Eurocentric slur. They were native only as it relates to the arrival of Europeans, when in fact they also emigrated from Asia and are no more native than we are.

Lol... WTF do you know about messicans, wetto¿ My qualifications to pontificate about Mexicans began when I attended and later graduated from St Pius V in Buena Park, where 50% of the students had a last name that ended with a Z or a vowel. Had I gone to Mater Dei instead of Servite, my studies into the Hispanic culture could have continued by just walking outside the campus. Nonetheless, the list below cements me as an expert on Americans of Mexican descent - My best friends through grade school were Ben Banuelos, Maury Bacquerizo & Gary Escadero (in retrospect, Maury may have been half Italian);
- I kissed Nancy Rodriguez at a 7th grade party;
- I went to Knotts Berry Farm with Zoila Martinez, who had matured much earlier than the other girls;
- I bought parts for my high school car from Santa Ana Speed;
- I dated Jennifer Castellano after high school;
- I went on vacation to Mazatlan on my 1st wedding anniversary;
- I smile at all of the cashiers who work at fast food drive through windows when I give them my credit card.
I am for all intents & purposes a Chollo...

But, more importantly, my point was not that our claims are invalid, but that, like the Jews returning to Their homeland, Israel, Mexicans are returning to theirs, CA, AZ, and TX.

Don't forget that the US bought these areas in the Southwest from Mexico. For people to claim that Mexicans are just returning to their homeland ignores the fact that they sold the land and gave up any rights to it.

We also kicked their collective keesters in the Mexican American war... but, again, that wasn’t my point. i was being facetious.

Dave, my barb wasn't directed at you, it was intended for those fools who make the claim that Mexico has "ownership" rights to our southwestern states. If those making that claim want to return to their homeland, they should set sail for Spain.

Me hee coh... enough We have another moro.... hollywood idiot " entertainer" opining This bright bulb is using the tired old 'I am Hitler' - www.imdb.com/title/tt1388895/?ref_=ttpl_pl_tt - or rather " Trump is Hitler." Line My God these people ! They're an embarrassment to America !------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ In a CNN interview, singer Linda Ronstadt compared President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, saying both used strategies to "find a common enemy for everybody to hate." Ronstadt also drew parallels between Trump and Hitler's ascension to their respective offices, saying that because few spoke out against their behavior while they campaigned. [sic] "The intelligentsia of Berlin, and the literati, and all the artists were just busy doing their thing. Hitler rose to power — there were a lot of chances to stop him, and they didn't speak out," she told Cooper. Ronstadt, like all of the president's left-wing critics who decry him as another Hitler , failed to cite any evidence for her assertions or examples of the POTUS's alleged dictatorial actions. Her claims that Germany's " intelligentsia," "literati," and " all the artists" "didn't speak out" against Hitler — and that there is some sort of parallel situation in the U.S. today — are absurd. In reality, the anti-Trump Resistance demanding his ouster has been a powerful and omnipresent force opposing the president in American popular culture, the media, academia, and other sectors since before President Trump was even inaugurated. Ronstadt is not new to the anti-Trump Resistance. On September 28, 2017, The Guardian published an interview with her. In response to the question " What do you think will happen under Donald Trump?," Ronstadt replied: It's a genuine national emergency. What he wants is to be in control of the media, and he has an acute instinct for the lowest common denominator — he knows how to go really low. So if we don't wake up, he could turn us into a dictatorship. I've read a lot on the history of Hitler, and people keep drawing comparisons ... they're so staggering — it's step by step by step. He's isolating us, he's taking us out [of contact] with South America, Mexico, Canada ... if we get attacked from outside, who's going to come to our rescue if we've isolated ourselves from our neighbours?CNN has been hyping its showing this week of a new biographical documentary film about the famous singer and recording artist, Linda Ronstadt. At age 73 now, Ronstadt has been out of the public eye for the past decade after being diagnosed with a serious, degenerative neurological condition — initially thought to be Parkinson's but in late 2019 confirmed to be progressive supranuclear palsy. www.americanthinker.com/blog/2020/01/cnn_exploits_an_impaired_linda_ronstadt_to_attack_president_trump.html

Don't forget that the US bought these areas in the Southwest from Mexico. For people to claim that Mexicans are just returning to their homeland ignores the fact that they sold the land and gave up any rights to it. I wouldn’t put it like that, RSM. The land was in truth seized after the War of 1848 and the US made a token payment as part of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo. I don’t know if the money was paid to reimburse Mexico for damages or to make the transfer of land - at five cents per acre - look like more of a business deal than a military conquest, which is actually what it was. Mexico had turned down a deal prior to the war when they were offered twice as much for the same land. Obviously it was, to put it euphemistically, a “distress sale”. That being said, it’s true that much if not most of the territory that comprises nations was seized from someone else at one time or another, so the claims of legitimate Mexican ownership are fatuous.................Luca

Here's someone telling our Hollywood idiots something very direct. At the Golden Globes even ! Will they .. well, who cares, they can't have missed the message Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais skewered Hollywood during his opening monologue of the annual award show on Sunday
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “ So, if you win, come up, accept your little award tonight, come up, accept it, thank your agent and your God, and fuck off. No one cares about your views on politics or culture.”
“ You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg,” Gervais told the A-list crowd at the top of the show. Gervais saved his most stinging barb for Apple, which entered the entertainment business last year with the debut of Apple TV+. Apple CEO Tim Cook was in attendance during Sunday’s ceremony. Gervais started by complimenting Apple’s The Morning Show, starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, but soon switched into attack mode. “ A superb drama about the importance of dignity and doing the right thing made by a company the at runs sweatshops in China,” the actor-comedian said. “ If ISIS started a streaming service, you all would be calling your agents.” ................. www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2020/01/05/golden-globes-host-ricky-gervais-hollywood-in-no-position-to-lecture-about-anything-you-know-nothing-about-the-real-world/
