I would go a step further, the left is full of these extremists. Look at the VP, Kamala. She promoted funds that released violent rioters out of jail during the pandemic riots of 2020. If there is a moderate Democrat, they should just jump over to the Republican party, like many are doing.

I had considered this ticket long ago, Trump-DeSantis. If Trump wasn't going to run Desantis-Paul. But the GOP would never take the winningest ticket strategically, they will make it as difficult as possible from within...

The best of both worlds, IMO. But I can't believe a wet sock couldn't beat Biden. The headline implies that Trump couldn't beat Biden. Perhaps if those Democrat cities count the votes in private or stuff the boxes.

But I can't believe a wet sock couldn't beat Biden. I agree. We often talk about what pathetic leaders, politicians and human beings Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are. But the most pathetic thing of all is that the GOP can't beat them.

Democrats have mastered the election system, its that simple. I remember here in Cali when they (Government) started the "Motor Voter" program, I thought those working at DMV, government employees probably 90% and largely minority would be helping people register. Its been steps like these that have Democrat votes being driven (No Pun) up. During Covid they really got their electoral PHD in getting out and finding the votes. They weren't selling Joe Biden, in fact Joe Biden wasn't selling Joe Biden he was hiding in a bunker.

Let me preface here, I went on record early on DeSantis-Paul would be my ticket 2024. That said, I was highly critical of "Team deSantis" and there dilly dally way of entering the race late and letting Trump run far ahead in the race before finally declaring. At that point, my advice was to sit this one out, get out of the way, damage will ensue. Theses numbers, poll after poll appear I am correct. The Governor has just 14% support among GOP voters younger than 45 years of age. floridapolitics.com/archives/621087-poll-ron-desantis-trails-donald-trump-by-50-points-with-younger-gop-voters/
New polling points to trouble for Ron DeSantis with one particular demographic in the 2024 presidential race.
A Fox News poll conducted from June 23 through June 26 shows the Florida Governor 50 points behind former President Donald Trump, 64% to 14%, with Republican voters under the age of 45.
The 77-year-old Trump’s massive lead with younger voters is notable given that DeSantis, a 44-year-old, is actually a member of that demographic cohort. The Governor has made age an issue in campaign speeches, promoting himself as being able to bring energy to the executive branch.

I know MD disagrees, but Trump has a good track record. I think DeSantis has done some good things, but over the past couple months I too have seen some thing that make me question his motives. I think DeSantis would be better than RFK now. Too bad he wasn't a Dem.

Ron DeSantis is a good and decent man with good policy ideas. But he's too vanilla in an era when vanilla no longer cuts it. You have to have a loud mouth, be insulting and confrontational, call your opponents names, and lie about them to win over today's voters. He doesn't do that, so he's falling farther and farther behind.
It's not so much a statement about him as it is a statement about the mindless voters so many citizens have become, looking for the hot sauce rather than the meat.

I think his name calling puts him down a few points, but watching the Dems trying to throw him in jail helps him.

Trump will not be perfect, but as time goes on and compared to the rest of the field, I think he will be better.

I expected this to go unmentioned on this forum, so I have to bring it up now:
Just when I thought my opinion of Donald Trump as a man and an adult couldn't get any lower, he twice makes an oblique reference to Chris Christie as a "fat pig". What a truly inspirational human being he is.

Well, I guess that's putting it diplomatically. It's like saying a turd isn't the perfect lunch meat.
