So obvious that Burisma bought off any possible investigations by hiring the son the Vice-President of the United States, who had absolutely ZERO qualifications for his $80K/month salary. Liberals, just imagine if the players were different, and it was Eric Trump who was on Burisma's payroll and his dad pressured Ukraine to fire a prosecutor who was looking into Burisma....hell, I'd be calling for impeachment myself!

If anyone (I mean with their eyes open) did not believe this whole circus is a travesty of nothing-sauce, yesterdays comical pantsing of the Democrats should have done it. There should be no rational, thinking person left who does not understand what this is: Hateful vengeance... these monkeys EVEN gave us a preview with Judge Kavanaugh.
From Schiff actually interrupting a GOP Congressman to instruct the witness how to answer the question, to Jim Jordan shooting the legs out from under the demacrats case (no, that’s not a misspelling, it is a contraction of the party name with “demagogues”), and including Adam “Fraud” Schiff changing the House rules so they can hold secret meetings and interview “witnesses” in closed meetings...
I do not see anyone with a brain who still believes this House of Representatives is doing the job for which they were elected.

As an illustration of how divided we have become in not only our politics, but in our perceptions of reality:
On the one hand, most posters on this forum have chimed in that yesterday's "testimony" was a big steaming pile of nothing. It was almost all hearsay and second-hand opinions and recollections that would never be allowed in a court proceeding.
And on the other hand, we have today's full-banner headline in the L.A. Times that reads, "Testimony Builds Case Against Trump".
What in the world has happened to us as a rational people who see truth as truth without political shading or nuance?

Excellent question...what has happened to you?
Republicans used to support the FBI...not since trump.
Republicans used to be for fiscal responsibility...not since trump.
Republicans used to believe in "law and order"...again. not since trump.
Republicans used to believe that prior political experience was important...remember all the taunts about Obama being just a "community organizer"?...what did trump have?
Republicans would never have voted for a draft dodger...why trump?
What has happened to you people?

I'm no longer so naive nor so stupid as to believe we can have all the things the Democrats promise if we just "get the rich to pay a little more in taxes." Anybody with a sixth-grade education in arithmetic should be able to determine that's total bullshit. And need I remind you for the umpteenth time that I'm neither a Republican nor a Trump-supporter, so please direct your rhetorical questions elsewhere.

That's easy...We got to see what 8 years of social justice warrior nonsense, PC nonsense, identity politics nonsense, perceived victim-hood nonsense, anti-scientific gender nonsense (especially when force fed to our kindergarten children), sanctuary city nonsense, etc. looked like.
Republicans still support the FBI...just not those leaders who were corrupt.
Republicans still support law and order. It's the Dems who don't as evidenced by sanctuary cities and pro-illegal border policies, attacks on free speech, attacks on religious liberty, etc.
As to the rest of your post, one learns to tolerate minor evils that can be addressed later, in order to put a stop to greater evils such as abortion on demand, all the way up to birth, and the nonsense mentioned above in my first and third sentences.

I have the growing impression that without his Google access, he has little to contribute other than personal insults and his Wabashian catchphrases and buzzwords.

Gosh, I never considered these arguments before. I mean, what have I been thinking? Thank you for shaking me out of my cult-like devotion to the Grifter-in-Chief. I'm immediately joining the #Resistance. 2. Just taking this pablum at face value, perhaps Republicans are merely catching up with Democrats, who have never supported any of these things. And thanks for the comic relief.

I see. And this "corruption" you mention is more than an opinion, right? You're talking about actual corruption where someone was jailed or fined or something for their corrupt acts....right? I didn't think so. So what you're saying is that you support an FBI that agrees with your political views, otherwise they're "corrupt".
You just don't support a president who's real big on following the law, and who likes to create a great deal of disorder with his policies. Another minor evil I suppose.
At any rate, thank you for your attempt to respond to some of my points in an intelligent manner. Something your fellow posters don't seem to be able to manage.

So you believe the bullshit claims of the Republicans...brilliant.
Why did you respond if you thought my questions were rhetorical, or why if you thought they don't apply to you?

Good job on adding nothing worthwhile to the discussion at all...you should be proud Dave, you're demonstrating your personally-renowned critical thinking skills well.
I'ts a good thing not everyone here is quite so ignorant as you.

And again you lied. You have a very dubious relationship with the truth for someone who claims to be a Catholic...I suppose you need something to say during confession.
The questions were serious, your response was not. Feel free to try again to explain why the Republicans have lost their collective minds in the last few years.
