It's just part of the natural progression of leftist fear-mongering. We not only need to replace all our cars with electric vehicles, but now we need to replace all our home furnaces, cooking ranges/stoves and water heaters with electric models as well. And not a word from the left telling us where all this electric power is going to come from, because, as usual, they don't think even one step ahead.
Mark my words, within a decade all Americans will be required to wear butt plugs 24/7, because human farts will be classified as a toxin or a greenhouse gas that must be eliminated at all costs.

Do you think that if our next President is Republican and we have control of at least one body of Congress we can reverse a lot of this nonsense? It's interesting to note the demonstrations in France by millions against the Green agendas. With a complete blackout of these events from our media.

I think if they didn't cheat on the elections, a Republican would be in there right now. The left (commies) were caught off guard in 2016. Hillary was expected to win. In 2020 they were prepared - perhaps the pandemic was even part of that plan.

How AL Glore made $330m with climate alarmism:Former VP made a fortune after losing to George W when he set up a green investment firm now worth $36BN that pays him $2m a month... as he warns about 'rain bombs' and 'boiling oceans'Warning the world that it is on the brink of disaster has been lucrative for Al Gore. His wild prediction at Davos that Earth faces 'rain bombs' and 'boiling oceans' is just his latest in decades of climate alarmism.
At the same time, the former VP has been at the forefront of green technology investment that has seen his wealth balloon to an estimated $330 million.
Four years after losing to George W Bush in 2000, Gore set up Generation Investment Management with former Goldman Sachs Managing Director and close friend David W. Blood. The mission statement of the investment firm, where Gore collects $2 million in a monthly salary, is to back companies that are making strides towards going green. The firm is worth around $36 billion. He proudly said of his role at the fund, when it launched, was that of a figurehead saying: 'I'm not a stock picker.'
later in the article................................ His business gains were such that when Gore won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007, along with its $1.9 million prize money, he put all of his winnings into the Alliance for Climate Protection, an organization he founded.
The editor-in-chief of GreenTechMedia Stephen Lacey described Gore in an appearance The Energy Gang podcast in 2017: 'He is a flawed character. We’re in an era of backlash against elites, so Gore, a guy who bought a 6,500-square-foot seafront home in California for $8.8 million, and who hangs around with other celebrities who talk big on climate but who live lavish lifestyles, is the perfect target at this point in time.'

Al Gore has probably made more money (and logged more miles on gas-guzzling private jets) from the climate "crisis" than any person alive. He will not stop until he's dead.

The Davos group (WEF) are a bunch of euthenists. The idea - the fear - of climate change couldn't be better for them.
I doubt Al Gore swam to Europe. He doesn't care about the environment.

With so many chicken littles out there, how does anyone trust anything?

With so many chicken littles out there, how does anyone trust anything? In the least to help the planet these "chicken" littles should be laying eggs to help fight global inflation...., instead they produce burps and flagellants.

Now that she's a global celebrity, I'd be willing to bet that Greta Thunberg doesn't fly coach on commercial airlines to all these "climate" conferences where she's idolized as the Second Coming. Yet the utter hypocrisy of people like Al Gore, Greta Christ and John Kerry are never called out by the media who love them.

I don't think I have enough land to use soar panels to charge an electric car. But buying electricity off the grid is not cheap, as the article points out. Plus, even if I had enough land to put solar panels - enough panels to charge a car - I gotta buy Li-Ion batteries, lots of them to store the electricity to charge my car (assuming I owned an electric car). But then, what if everyone had an electric car? How many batteries would we need using solar? And how much lithium and Cobalt would we need to mine? Sadly, it is a great / noble goal, but it is just unworkable. We need an ecologically friendly alternative to Li-Ion. Right now, there isn't one.
The leftists, or what ever whackos they are, should study electrical engineering and NOT gender studies.
