But could I vote for a Gabbard/Pence ticket?
Possibly a Pence/Gabbard ticket...

It would really shake things up if she switched parties and replaced Mike Pence on the ticket. That thought occurred to me also. But I wondered how that would look, since there are already Republican women who are deserving.

There are plenty of Democrats who dislike Hilary Clinton also. By standing up to her - geez, that woman is a rhetorical assassin ("Embodiment of the rot in the Democratic Party"? Vicious counterpunches.) - she distances herself from what I suspect many see as the entrenched and elitist wing of the party, and perhaps positions herself as a viable more centrist candidate.
A Democratic candidate attacking either of the Clintons 10 years ago would have been unthinkable but that's not the case now.................................Luca

Come on, man. Tomi's a TV personality who looks like a Barbie doll. She's not a candidate for political office.

Most positions of the left are unacceptable to the right. While I haven't heard her rationale as to why she believes those positions are in the best interests of the US, my sense is that she would at least have some semblance of reason that I would listen to.

I believe she understands she has little chance of remaining in this race. By doing this, going out and being a vocal critic of Hillary Clinton she is getting media attention and headlines, something the media refused to give her or her position in the party didn't earn enough kudos to be considered a headliner. She likely sees Biden as the dud he is and no one is really positioned well in the party centrally, they are all far left lunatics. She can likely garner votes in the middle, she has now alienated the left, joined some sort of center. Being young and a female, opposite of Old Joe, she could pick up a following from those in the Democratic Party who are going to finally realize a Bernie or Lizzy will never fly and is far too extreme for America.

I just realized she is a unicorn... A reasonable Democrat.

Reality check for fantastical notions of Tulsi being even remotely acceptable to Republican/conservative voters: Good points, but I can't help but wonder how many of those are positions that her party demands that she take in order to get their support.
