You have to admire her tenacity. She publically stated she will not retire while Trump is in the White House.
But then she had cancerous nodes removed from her lungs back in December and everyone thought maybe that was it, even though she said she’s fine and will be back in a couple of weeks. As those weeks grew into months, calls to “show us Ginsburg” could be heard from the conspiracy theorists who claimed she was dead and a democrat cabal didn’t want to let anyone know, lest Trump get a third SCOTUS nominee.
Well, according to an article in Fox News, and elsewhere, this morning, she walked up to her seat on the bench, unassisted, and even asked the first question of the attorney at the bar. Word is, she has hired interns whose jobs extend into 2020, so those hoping for her retirement have also been quashed.
