OK, guys, I've caved in to pressure from SK80's relentless whining that he be crowned regular season champion of our inaugural high school football pool. So let's hear it for King SK80! If we should ever meet in person I promise to do my best to crown him. For the playoffs, I've decided to go with picking the winners against the spread. Just like in Vegas, you either give or take the points. Should make things very interesting and more difficult. In the games below, please NOTE: THE "AT" DESIGNATES THE HOST TEAM AND NOT NECESSARILY THE GAME VENUE. THIS WEEK'S GAMES

 I think Credo got the last laugh here. I await the official tally, but I think he got exactly the same score I got, without doing any of the work I did on it.

Well, if Friday night proved anything, it's that we suck. We think we know what we're doing, or that we have a "system" or a "formula" for picking winners and spreads. But when one dude says "I'll take all the favorites to cover" and he ends up finishing second, it just shows we all suck balls.

I watched the scores come in and thought I was going to be in the cellar, good thing we collectively suck on the same candy. The insanity of all this is The Frog is on top. I mean this is insane! Surely he is floating on a soon to be sinking lily pad. Ribet. Again this week I made one last minute change, burned by dropping Temecula Vally from my cover list..... @mdad it probably wasn't a bad idea to lean favorites in a 16 team seeded divisional format as there are big spreads for reasons...... as insane as the numbers are. I don't think you will see that this week except in the for "OPEN"... those spreads will be there till the final! I see my screen name starting with an "S" makes my position in the standings look worse, being that against the rest of your chosen aliases I will be losing that coin flip of order all the way.....   |

So in Vegas if you go 11 winners and 8 losers and each game is bet at same money those above .500 would be winners, that would be "US". Team "We" as MDDad refers would be those under .500  |

Yes, the spreads are from Calpreps. And if they're so far off, I expect everyone to go 20-0 this week.

Unless Pat Harlow has some rabbit up his sleeve this looks like an easy cover for Centennial. Credo is showing his hand (known gambling diversion.), unless he as some rabbit up is sleeve. (Is it not hat? more diversion.) |
