More PC and "sensitive" reaction on yet another holiday under siege... let us teach our children to rewrite or disguise history for the betterment of society. Not. Go at it MDDad I think tis one is right in your wheel house.....! Gobble Gobble School Cancels First Grade Thanksgiving Play Over 'Sensitivity' Concerns newstalk1130.iheart.com/featured/common-sense-central/content/2019-11-15-school-cancels-first-grade-thanksgiving-play-over-sensitivity-concerns/?fbclid=IwAR2Pyhx9Q1zuplAJz0q7O5O85fA8zsp-VFLmVBfOO3DuDkm7-o_ar1olxx8 Stone Bank Elementary School in Oconomowoc has canceled its first grade Thanksgiving play "out of respect for Native Americans" and concerns about "the sensitivity of this time in our history."
"Unfortunately, the children are unable to dress as a Pilgrim or Native American," teachers wrote in an email to parents. "We apologize if you already purchased or made your child’s costume. There have been some conversations and concerns about the accuracy of the first Thanksgiving story. Out of respect for Native Americans, and the sensitivity of this time in our history, we are not going to reenact the first Thanksgiving story.

So long as they don't cancel a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, we're good.

So long as they don't cancel a Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, we're good. surely they will find something to hate or at least put a "disclaimer"! Did yo see what Disney did on its new Disney+ with depicting cultural stereotypes in outdated movies and cartoons?

I'm sorry, SK, but I don't even know what to say anymore. We seem to be living in a bizarre era when almost every holiday, ceremony or celebration that we've cherished for generations and that have united us as an American community for two centuries is under siege for being insensitive, racist, misogynistic, bigoted, or in some other way offensive. The reasons seem clear -- it's a lot easier to erect some alien new version of society when the old one has been torn down. The assault from the radical left is ubiquitous.
Donald Trump proved in 2016 that a good political slogan like "Make America Great Again" can go a long way in garnering support and getting elected. Perhaps next year the Democrats should try "Freebies For Everyone, Open Borders, and Pussify, Pussify, Pussify!"

Not sure how “Freebies For Everyone, Open Borders, and Pussify, Pussify, Pussify!" is any different from what they’re doing now...

The difference is that they've never gone to the trouble to summarize their positions succinctly enough to fit on the front of a baseball cap. I expect no thanks or payment for doing it for them.

Perhaps next year the Democrats should try "Freebies For Everyone, Open Borders, and Pussify, Pussify, Pussify!" It's kinda working for half the populous
