Are there any employers out there would want to hire someone like Colin Kapernaek after an exhibition like that?
If ever anyone wanted to give you reasons not to hire him............. I couldn’t help but laugh. The entitled prima donna has learned absolutely nothing after three years of unemployment...........Luca

Like politics, this is not about the fact he really isn't very good. It's about the "haters" who want to punish a semi-black guy for standing up / kneeling down for civil rights. His marketability with Nike is only as good as his relevance as his political stance. But he's got a grip of myopic supporters out there, otherwise Nike would've already shown him the door as well.

Nike is a commercial enterprise in business to make money. If they stand by Kaepernick, it's because they believe he will increase sales. As soon as they think he doesn't, he's gone...just like any other dime-a-dozen mediocre athlete.

Think about WHO they're appealing to. Didn't think there were that many athletes / shoe buyers who would want to align themselves with victims. Funny, everyone wanted PF Flyers so you could run faster, and jump higher...Air Jordans so you could fly from the free throw line, and posterize someone.
I'm guessing Nike's new vision is Knee-Kap's?

It makes me wonder if Kaepernick was actually serious about the work out to begin with. Switching it to a site miles away at the last minute as though the NFL scouts have a duty to go, and he’s giving them an opportunity rather than the other way around. This is not how you indicate you're serious about playing in the NFL again. You wonder if he’s just trying to reinvigorate his profile since as time goes on he becomes less and less relevant, insofar as he ever was.
What are the chances, if you were an NFL owner, and saw a guy who behaves like this - playing to the crowd so obviously - that you would even think about hiring the guy? He’d make your practices into a media circus and all the woke ESPN reporters would be focusing on his every move and the possible portentous symbolism behind it. He’d be a distracting public relations nightmare. It’s actually amusing to see the guy ruin whatever chance he had left. Was he even serious?...........Luca

EVERY team has players in for workouts EVERY week during the season on Monday & Tuesday. NO ONE does this public workout crap, except for colleges that have their Pro Day after the combine. This was a joke.

And if you're interested, here's what was behind the kneeling thing in the first place. It's about 15 minutes long, but pretty good.

I doubt that Kaepernick wants to be an NFL QB anymore, I think he is more interested in being a victim and getting paid for it.

It'll give the apologists a big dose of reality when they see he isn't good. They must've forgotten he was benched THREE years ago. I'm sure he's in the best shape of his life

I watch more HSF and NCAA Football now than I do NFL Football..., but from a marketing stand point if this guy suits up again i will tune into every game to hear the boos and I will become a fan of every team that he is not on especially the defensive ends of the day!

Exactly what I was thinking. if some NFL team brings him in, he can no longer claim to be a victim for “exercising [his] freedom of speech.” i think you’ve nailed it here: Interest in his clownish buffoonery is waning so this “workout” schedule is just another dog-and-pony show developed by his agent.
