The games on Saturday will be televised on the Spectrum channel ("Lakers" channel on 691 Directv), correct? And does that mean annoying Petros will be commentating? Damn is 691 Spectrum? Petros doesn't do Spectrum..... he can be annoying but I love it when he talks CDM Football and says "Those Surfer Boys".....

Petros' idiot schtick became stale a long time ago.

I just hope the announcers will call the game and quit getting signals, penalties and fouls wrong. Quit opining on why something was called or if it's a "good" rule or not. Biggins and Rix frive me nuts, just call the game and leave the why's to the officiating crews. From HS to NFL, announcers think they know all about how the job is done and how easy it is ... Good luck to The Braves and Sea Kings this weekend.

well, if officiating wasn't so bad overall (pretty much all sports), the announcers wouldn't be talking about it so much.

Hey Zebra if you get a chance watch the last 4th and goal by Oceanside, the play they got stopped on the 1/2 yard line. Right before the stop there was a beyond obvious push in the back on a CDM tackler by a Oceanside offensive player that no ref called, blatant penalty in the wide open. Fortunate CDM took matters into their own hands and made the stop, that blown/missed call could have cost them the game, Had Oceanside scored my bet was they go for two and the win with their RB Tua.

Saw it but to be frank, at that moment, in my personal opinion, my eyes are on that ball carrier and the position of the ball. The BIB was slightly behind the play laterally so I could see why there was a no call with the ball that close to the goal line. Gotta pick your battles and the goal line is the most important thing on this play. Reminded me of the stop against Tennessee and the Rams in the Superbowl many moons ago.

I can't get a good clip of it now..., the best of course is from the Spectrum Sports game tape they showed it from different angles and my take at the time was that is was a missed call. I know you guys can't see everything and your take and explanation respected, I still might disagree! Either way it didn't change the final outcome although ever so close to possibly doing so...

from what i can see on the map, is that Lot 10? If so, I hope Cerritos college doesnt get butt hurt like they did 2 weeks ago when we (and MD) set up the grills and tailgated. They had the cops come over and try to shut us down. This was after we were there for like 2 hours, grills going. Wanted us to set up as close to the street entrance. We said hell no. Its going to take an hour to pack up.
They were real strict with alcohol too. We had to sneak it. Cops just sat there, patrolling, hoping to catch someone.
Hopefully they know what's coming there way and relax this time!
Good luck SK80. I'll be checking into the stadium to watch the "pre-game" before the granddaddy.

Yeah that's lot 10...not exactly close to the field. They seemed to get a little picky about the parking this year at Cerritos.

Helluva game between Fresno Central and Sierra Canyon last nite. Other than both teams dropping easy TDs time and again, it was good, physical football. I could swear that was Marshawn Lynch who scored the last TD for Central.
Sierra Canyon should be right in the mix of the top 8 next year. Some real dudes on defense over there.

that walk isn't bad, unless your team loses. Then it feels like forever.
It was the greatest walk back seeing the disappointed MD fans.
