Then God asked: Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat? The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me—she gave me fruit from the tree, so I ate it.”
The LORD God then asked the woman: What is this you have done? The woman answered, “The snake tricked me, so I ate it.”
Then the LORD God said to the snake:
Because you have done this, cursed are you among all the animals, tame or wild; On your belly you shall crawl, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; They will strike at your head, while you strike at their heel. (Genesis 3:11-15)

Any wonder why the Democratic Party has all but bumped her off...?

She's too smart, too devout and much too cute to be a Democrat. She might make a very big splash in the future if she finds the right vehicle to run as a centrist.

Her politics are still way too left me me but her Christmas message is about as good as it gets from any politician. No one else currently running--including Trump--could have pulled that off. Kudos, Tulsi (and we all owe you a debt for eviscerating Kamala Harris and Hillary Clinton).

Lest we forget, she is still pro-Abortion, anti 2nd amendment, she has spoken out in favor iPod the green new deal, favors National Healthcare and a host of other positions that would make me uncomfortable voting for her.

I wonder though, how many of those views she adopted, in order to pass Democratic litmus tests, and how many she really believes in. If she changed parties, would her positions change, and if so, could she be trusted to be true to the new positions?

She at least changed her position on LGBT rights, but no telling if she did that before or in preparation of declaring her campaign. According to Wikipedia:

The thing about Tulsi Gabbard is that she will engage those who have opposite viewpoints. So even if she has what I consider to be an incorrect position about the 2nd amendment, she is willing to talk and listen to reasonable people who have the opposing viewpoint. She may not even be swayed to my way of thinking, but acknowledges that not everyone sees it the way she does.
That trait makes her a good politician in my opinion because she is representing others, not dictating her personal beliefs.

Your argument is solid, RSM, but irrelevant to me: My search is always for the candidate who most closely mirrors my values, recognizing nomine will ever be a 100% match.
