I disagree. No American citizens should be run out of this country. That's not how we roll. This is an area where MDDad & I agree. I look at it from the perspective that we should allow people with bad ideas to voice those ideas so they can be countered and shown to be bad. If we silence people or attempt to run them out of the country, then their being silenced becomes power for them.If I can't illustrate where your ideas fall short, I really should keep my mouth shut. I agreed above where I said; " As David said above, ideologically run out." The difficulties encountered at the current time for us, are how and WHO controls the dissemination of information. The " media" now known as " the mainstream media" has staked their claim clearly in the socialist/communist camp. They overtly lie and make up false accusations against people they don't want the population to hear from, in order to discredit them. America has an ever growing " alternative" media to battle this information war, and technology to make sharing information easier today.. We have to hope the population is widely aware of what is going on. They're being lied to and manipulated by bad, power-mad people serving them VERY bad ideas. Ideas to make them submit their freedoms and livelyhoods to a small group of elites who are after what people have been after as long as there have been people - POWER over others. This is an issue that humans have always had. It is an issue that the founders of America tried to address in our founding documents & system of government - which is why these power-trippers are wanting us to believe the founding documents are " living documents" that can be changed according to THEIR wishes... As I said, we have to hope & pray that the population is widely aware of what is going on. If they're not aware and accept these things they're being told will " make their lives better," they and their descendants will deeply regret being so ignorant... as will the entire world.

As Social Democrats often demonstrate to us, even those who cannot support their own ideas, never mind refute mine, are... and should be... allowed to speak freely.

I agree with Dave. The more people like AOC, Ilhan and Rashida are allowed to blather on, the better it is for conservatives.

I was talking for myself, not putting that restriction on anyone else. I too believe the more an ignoramus blathers on, the more people they convince to go to the other side.
I hold myself to a different standard, that if I can not refute ones ideas, I really shouldn't rally against them.

Differing ideas...yes. In this country, we are about giving everyone as much rope as they'd like to hang themselves.
But what about personal attacks?

Non-threatening personal attacks are also free speech. but we each have our own threshold for how much of it we listen to, or allow into our lives (and, thereby, our reaction to it). when we have a denizen in our little community, for example, who cannot hold a civil tongue in his head, but constantly insults and tries to belittle and accuse, we each have the ability to suffer him and respond, or ignore him and refuse to respond. Of course, we could also throw him out, which would solve the problem, but this community is all about free speech.

I enjoy personal attacks and responding to them. When someone attempts to insult me, I consider it a challenge to respond in a completely overwhelming and inappropriate way to see if I can make them regret the initial insult. There isn't much finesse in my insults, I tend to go for the jugular.

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats who support her are an embarrassment. In fairness to the quote, assuming she's referring to Twitter and other social media bots / accounts, I can see how that's a concern. I swear, half the responses you read on these tweets HAVE to come from made up accounts, and not real people. The profile pages are a dead giveaway.

The Left has never accepted the 2016 election, because they don't really trust the people to make their own choices and to govern themselves. Much less will they accept Trump's re-election in November.

Bernie says today he would "look at" possibly tearing down existing border fencing between the U.S. and Mexico. If he gets the nomination he's going full McGovern.

It's been reported that President Trump could get as much as 30% of the AA vote. This would be the death nail for the democrats in 2020 and years to come. Also non-government unions and their money are leaving the democrats. The DNC and fake news CNN are going after Sen. Sanders to get him out of the race early this time.
The democrats stand in the way.
