I've had a couple thoughts since Tuesday that I'd like to bounce off the membership. (1) If you look at what really happend Tuesday night, yes, Trump lost the election primarily because he's Trump and he can't behave any other way. But all the other results were excellent news. The GOP looks very much like they will retain control of the Senate, which can stop Biden in his tracks from doing anything the far left wants him to do. The GOP will end up with a net gain of about 15 House seats when everyone had them losing seats. And not a single Republican state legislature was flipped to Democratic, while several flipped in the other direction. This is a huge win since next year will be a redistricting year. I see Tuesday night as a repudiation of the far-left whacko platform the left forced Biden to accept. (2) Biden and Mitch McConnell may be the two most savvy politicians left standing in Washington (at least to the extent that Biden has any savvy left). They know better than anyone how to turn the gears, use leverage, work behind the scenes, twist arms, compromise and make deals. And they are friends. I foresee the two of them reaching moderate compromises on more issues than we expect. And that leaves bitches like Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi and the Squad frustrated and clutching their pearls because they may be on the outside looking in when their silly radical agendas have nowhere to go. And...the party in power almost always loses seats in the midterms. The Republicans may then control both houses of congress. Also, Mark Levin today was calling for the GOP to treat Biden exactly the way the Dems treated Trump. Resist, resist, resist. Trump is still president for at least 2 months. Appoint a special counsel to investigate Biden's influence peddling (as has been/will be found on Hunter's laptops), as well as whatever the Durham investigation has turned up. Two months from now, if Biden tries to fire the special counsel...that's obstruction of justice. Sound familiar? Lots of Senate investigations, and then after gaining control of the house...impeach him (if he's still alive and still not ousted by Harris). Payback can be a bitch! |

Well these rings of distant times in history... What a joke she (they) are! 70 million people have already voted for Trump in this election. Good luck trying to round up 70 million people to punish them. Bullets would fly everywhere. Even if it didn't involve rounding up people, any systematic attempt to make 70 million people to pay for the crime of voting for Trump, would also bring violence in return. Don't forget PF they have REPARATIONS on their agenda as well, you know pay for distant generation crimes! This is approaching a "Looney Tunes" production. |

In Michigan, Biden somehow got 138,339 votes and Trump got none, zero, in an overnight vote-dump. When my Federalist colleague Sean Davis noted this, Twitter was quick to censor his tweet, even though all he had done was compare two sets of vote totals on the New York Times website. Protip: Make election day a National Holiday, eliminate mail-in balloting (not legitimate Absentee), voter ID, etc.

Just keep voting until he wins. Yep, keep those suitcases and ice chests coming. This is not good. About half the voters are convinced the Left stole this election. Whatever it takes as Schumer famously stated.

If there's anything to come out of this, I hope our "leaders" take a hard look at our election process and really think about how to make it as secure as possible.The solution is as simple as it's been for the last 230 years: You drive, walk or take public transportation to your polling site, prove you are who you claim to be with a photo ID, and freakin' vote. We don't have to reimagine every freakin' institution under the sun, especially those that aren't broken. |
