Recruiting surfers to play rugby is like recruiting shotputters for cross country
I played Rugby for one year in college after giving up football. It was a lotta fun but my God I missed the whistles, huddles and time outs. That is one tiring game............Luca

Many of Cdm’s football players are playing rugby. The trend started last spring during the club season and Coach O’Shea liked what he got back from the boys playing rugby! Riley Binnquist has been the ring leader. Should be fun for them! Stay healthy!

I don't believe Rugby is a CIF sport yet. Not enough schools have it. It's a club team not actually a school team, although the vast majority are Friars. Besides the Fletchers, Orange Lutheran's Jared Amasio is on the team too. There are a few others also.
