AOC - she deserves her own thread

That clip is hilarious, and an astute distillation of her political expertise. It's hard to believe that this young lady was in high school a dozen years ago, and now she's seen as our savior statesman by millions of Americans. Unfortunately, with the leftist brainwashing our children are receiving in the public school system, and the leftist booster shots they get from the media, those millions will probably double in the next ten years as she represents that worldview to a T.

To me, her manner of speaking makes me think she's the first black Valley Girl. If there's ever a remake of Clueless, she'll kill Alicia Silverstone for the lead role. Frighteningly, she may become the first person to occupy the oval office without knowing what an oval is.

I believe you can have a discussion about both things, about the person & about the persons views. Obviously you shouldn't use one as an argument against the other, but they are 2 separate things.

As a person, I don't have much of a problem with AOC. She has charisma, is probably fun to be around and has those eyes that tell a man anything is possible. She is very ignorant, but in a cute way (if she has no power). I don't mean that description as an insult or as a rebuke to her political viewpoint, it is just my judgement of her personally. No different than saying Trump is crass, boorish and a narcissist. That judgement of him personally has nothing to do with his political ideology and its validity or lack thereof.

Her political viewpoints are very misinformed and show an extreme lack of understanding of economics, history & human nature. Other than that, she is top notch.

Probably not a good thing to have the group that got you elected kick you to the curb.

Kicked to the curb? This young lady might need rawhide chaps and butt pads before she's done getting kicked to the curb. When fame takes off like a rocket, it often drops like a rock, and AOC has been the fastest undeserving political rocket I've seen in quite a while. I really do feel a little sorry for her. Every time she appears on television or in a video, she reconfirms what an intellectual lightweight she is, and just how deep she's in over her head.
