Once again, some in the LGBT group don't want to just be allowed to live in a manner they choose, they want their choices accepted and applauded by all of society.
I love how one of his 7th grade students called the reason for him handing out the flyer as "b******t". Some kids can see the truth.

Doesn't it seem like the silent majority is becoming a lot less silent now? That pushback now gets vilified as "hate", and who's a better target as hater in chief than Trump?

...And why all the hate towards hate? Hate, in & of itself, never hurt anyone. It is peoples choice as how to deal with hate that is at issue.
Hate is a normal human reaction. I hate when people stop at yield signs, holding up traffic all because they don't have the driving skills to be able to merge with moving traffic. Yet that hate doesn't drive me to kill those people, crash my car into them or moon them. No, I choose to express my hate for their actions with a glare & a disappointing shake of the head no. Then, for me, it is done & over, until the next time some dimwit does the same thing.

I have to admit, I have much the same reaction, although there have been times when one of my middle digits has made an appearance. And when it's over, it's over. The only times violence even enters my mind is if (a) the other driver is looking down and texting, and (b) the other driver is a middle-aged Asian woman. |

I am actually expecting the person to either be distracted (texting, makeup, yammering away with a passenger) or Asian. I can't remember an incident where the driver wasn't one or the other.
Why would you want to be violent towards an Asian person for driving poorly? Are you a Korean or Vietnam war vet? I just believe there is X percentage of Asian people who have the "can't drive worth a damn" gene and the offender is just doing what their genetics makes them do.
The only time I envision violence towards an Asian person is if they are in our country but are treating animals (be it pets or wild animals) in a manner they would in the culture of the country they left. Our culture treats pets as family and wild animals with respect. This goes for Latino's too, so we are watching you Bick.

I’ve never noticed any particular problem with Asian drivers, male or female.
My major issues has always been with those yahoos Driving trucks with the huge oversize wheels, trying to look like they just finished off-roading through the Serengeti and tailgating you at 75 mph.................Luca |

Me too. i make the argument any one accomplishing something would achieve regardless what their gender, race, sexual orientation, or pronoun happens to be. If that is true, we get to the real reason Fatman Pritzker signed that legislation: Votes from the liberal Cook County... which controls the state. |

If a contribution to human history is recognized only because the person who accomplished it is black, female or gay, then maybe it wasn't much of an accomplishment to begin with. The bar should be set at the same height for everyone. That's what equality means.

Luca, the next time you are on the freeway & see a car in the middle or fast lane going 50, with other cars flowing around them like a river around a rock, check out the driver. 87.2% of the time, it will be someone of Asian descent.. The remaining 12.8% of the time, it is a trans-gendered person (this keeps this post on track with the rest of the thread). |
