Nancy's never done anything wrong in her life. Step up and say she got caught, and every woman who has ever colored her roots during the past 5 months would understand. Blame the salon for a set up. What a joke. Notice how her nephew steps up and takes the ban off salons the next day?

It's too bad the Keystone Cops and the Three Stooges are long dead and gone. If they could watch today's Democratic politicians and their antics, they could have made their acts so much more slapstick funny than they actually were.

If we take Ms. Pelosi's story at face value, there still are a few questions: - If the salon is one that she has "gone to many times over the years", why do they hate her so much to want to set her up?
- If the most powerful woman in the United States can be "set up" by a small salon owner, how does she expect to fare well against the Russians & Chinese if they try to set her up?

Never mind that CA experienced its hottest temps on record last week...stupid science...blame the arsonists. In early September 2020, an intense heatwave broke temperature records in several locations in Southern California. The dry, hot conditions helped fuel new and existing fires, which have consumed tens of thousands of acres of land. The average daily high in July where I live near South Coast Plaza was 79.4 degrees, making it the coolest July in about two decades. I suppose that proves we are headed for the next ice age.

Other than those 2-3 days, it's been a remarkably mild summer here.
I haven't read what brush clearing steps Newsom directed prior to THIS fire season following the devastating fires of a few years ago. Not sure he connected the dots that after the rains that pulled the state out of a draught condition, there might be more vegetation that would ultimately dry and become fuel for potential fires.

Frankly, you’d think a State that has historically been fire-susceptible would divert more funds into Fire Fighting and Prevention than other non-necessary expenditures.
But hey, I’m glad Joe Schmo, the janitor at the capital being paid $100k a year, is able to retire with a 100% pension.

Frankly, you’d think a State that has historically been fire-susceptible would divert more funds into Fire Fighting and Prevention than other non-necessary expenditures. But hey, I’m glad Joe Schmo, the janitor at the capital being paid $100k a year, is able to retire with a 100% pension. And don't forget all those bullet train dollars that could be put to better use. |
