Here a white house official says something without any evidence to back him up. In fact, the evidence so far says the Delta variant is more dangerous for the vaccinated. The UK government study I posted yesterday indicated that the vaccinated are six times more likely to die from the Delta variant. Andy Slavitt, the former WH advisor has no evidence to back him up but spews fear for the pharmaceuticals.
This is what happened with hydroxychloroquine: The CDC, without any evidence to back them up removed it from the EUA and then said it was dangerous. Within the last month a study was published stating it was effective. Does anyone care? No, because the money is being made in the vaccinations. Wikipedia mentions baseless accusations from the CDC but fails to mention the recent study.

Vaccinated are six times more likely to die from a disease they’re vaccinated from?
Logically, sounds asinine to me…

Saying something is "six times more likely" is meaningless when dealing with very small percentages. In this case the death rate in the sample of people who had been vaccinated and died WITH Covid (not necessarily OF Covid) was 0.636%, while the percentage of unvaccinated people who died WITH Covid (not necessarily OF Covid) was 0.0957%. When percentages are that low it's silly to draw major conclusions. It's like saying a baseball player with a .002 batting average is twice as good as a guy with a .001 batting average. They both suck, and there needs to be more evidence to say there's any significant difference between them.

If something else worked, then why EAU the vaccine? BTW: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emergency_Use_AuthorizationThere was a ton of money spent on vaccine R&D. They have been trying to get an mRNA vaccine approved for years. Can you imagine all of that vaccine going to waste? They needed to use it.The vaccine wasn't made for COVID-19; COVID-19 was made for the vaccine.

I just found out my Brother in Law was recovering from COVID (not sure which variant, but I assume whichever one it was, it was reported as Omicron) but came down with Pneumonia so he is now hospitalized. His numbers are improving, they have him on oxygen, and are waiting for his lung capacity to return.
My sister reports he is on some kind of "experimental" medication.

Sorry to hear about your brother in law. I had a good friend where I live and he told me years ago that his worst experience was with pneumonia. I can only imagine. A few years after I met him he slipped on I in front of a store, hit his head and passed on right there.
My dad passed away in September 2019 before COVID. He had been sick off and on but had a stroke. He lived a few more days but passed on.

The thing that really rubs me raw on this, is the ridiculous notion that one size fits all with these vaccines and the refusal to allow doctors to prescribe treatment of infected.
Have any of them happened to notice the plethora of cold / flu remedies at the local drug store? Why is that? Could it be that bodies respond to the various formularies differently?

Yes Bick - the one size fits all is a big problem. When they tell us the vaccine will give us a stronger immune response than the virus, that could be a big problem for people on immune suppressants. People are on immune suppressants because they don't want an overactive immune system or response. How many people had a transplant? How many people have autoimmune? Millions. It is a dice roll.

at this point the vaccines seem alot of to do bout nuttin'! Not just the vaccine, Pfizer's treatment is also sub-par. But the important thing to note about Pfizer's treatment is that it is patented, very expensive, and doesn't include long-term safety studies. Obviously there was a rebound with their treatment looking at what happened to Biden. You can't make this stuff up. Stick with the old proven cheap treatments. IMO.

Not exactly. Have you seen the Terminal List? I saw that on Prime Video Bick. Shows like that only come out once a year or so. It was good. Chris Pratt... Note the Emergency Use Authorization in that? It held everyone involved non-liable. LOL Remind you of something?
