Apparently the lifting of the lockdown is a done deal -- because of the science. Well, here's the science:
When Gavin Newsom imposed the lockdown on Dec. 5, the state was averaging 82 Covid deaths a day. The daily average is now 520. Orange County was averaging 3 Covid deaths a day. The daily average is now 45. So Newsom is willing to lift the lockdown even though six times as many people are dying statewide, and 15 times as many in our county. The reason is obvious -- it's to take the momentum out of the recall effort. This sonofabitch is willing to kill many times as many people in order to salvage his political future. He's as predictable as guessing which direction a turd will swirl when you flush it down the toilet. If he died in a car crash today, I'd feel no more grief than if a serial killer had been executed by lethal injection. He is a wretched human being.

Rumor (strong) has it that Newsom is going to rescind the statewide stay at home order today... Shocking. I figure he really pissed off his overlords with all his crap, so his penance was he had to appoint someone else to Kamalas vacated senate seat Now, he has to start backing down the COVID nonsense like the rest of the lap dogs so Biden can get credit for bringing us back. |

I was one of the first to sign it, and I did so at least three times. I figure the way this state validates voters it will probably go unnoticed.
That aside, I still strongly doubt the recall will succeed, especially with Newsom having the power to act like a savior every day like he did today.

It’s pretty incredible the hoops you have to jump through in order to get the vaccine - identification, employer payslips, proof of residency, doctors notes, etc.
