New team
Old team
Players on new team that got bumped down the depth chart
Players on old team that got moved up
How the xferring players fared on the team
School Cost to accommodate the xfer - van pool, tuition, etc
Extra time commitment from xferring player

But wait, didn't someone here on this board argue for years this just isn't true? Good article on the evolution of the transfer. MDDad it gives you a bit of credit in your fight with SJB fan when it comes to blaming who started all this...! Interesting on the timeline, LOYOLA ~> OAKS CHRISTIAN ~> SJB ~> MD. Happy to read the author used CDM as an example of being a winner with local talent and without the aid of the transfer.

also discuss schools that have to compete with MD/SJB in TL (JSerra, SM, OLu, Servite)-and the decision they've had to make to compete/not to compete. Another angle is to see who will step up and become northern LA's MD/SJB-latest candidate is Sierra Canyon, but Oaks, Calabasas, Grace Brethren are contenders. Loyola HS and SO Notre Dame could be if they wanted to. Alemany? Bonnie used to be for all of western Ventura County/eastern Santa Barbara County (with 600 kids in the entire school)-but has pulled out of the race.

Bonnie used to be everyone's 2nd favorite team in that part of the world, after their local public HS (Fillmore, Santa Paula, Camarillo, etc). They represented the region against the big boys like MD. When MD showed up there for a playoff game in 2011, etc-a real big deal.
