Remember when the Trump administration burned books? Oh wait. Antifa and BLM don't bother with burning things as little as books; they go straight for police cars and liquor stores (after they've been looted).

The schools need to teach history... no one seems to remember the last society who tried to censor books...

The continuation of cancelling history. classic literature in schools... California School District Bans ‘To Kill a Mockingbird,’ ‘Huckleberry Finn,’ Other Classic Novels www.breitbart.com/tech/2020/11/16/california-school-district-bans-to-kill-a-mockingbird-huckleberry-finn-other-classic-novels/
The Burbank Unified School District in California has banned several classic literary works that contain racial slurs. To Kill A Mockingbird and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn are two of the classics on the district’s new list of banned books.
According to a report by Newsweek, a school district in Burbank, California, has banned several classic books that contain racial slurs. The list includes: To Kill a Mockingbird, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, Of Mice and Men, The Cay and Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry.This one hits home, since I attended BUSD schools from grades 3-12. And we read most of those books during that time. That being said, I have a slightly different take on why some of these books--at least To Kill a Mockingbird and Huckleberry Finn--are being banned. It's not because they contain racial slurs--that's just accurate history. No, it's because, despite the obvious and glaring racial injustices we see in these stories, the actions of Atticus Finch and Huck Finn, respectively, show that genuine kindness, sympathy, and solidarity (even friendship) were possible between whites and blacks--and that white racism was as damaging to the souls of the perpetrators as it was to the bodies of their victims. And that lesson in the inherent potential for good in all humans is unacceptable to the cartoonish version of history advocated by a Woke consensus that is only interested in power and score-settling and which preaches an ideology of guilt by association without the possibility of redemption.

Remember when the Trump administration burned books? Oh wait. It's the ACLU that now wants to ban books according to the Independent Women's Forum. .

The schools need to teach history... no one seems to remember the last society who tried to censor books... Indeed...do you? Remember a book called "Heather Has Two Mommies"? Do you remember the reception it received from the right-wing morality squad? A reminder: In Fayetteville, North Carolina, people tried to have Heather Has Two Mommies banned from local libraries and schools. They were unsuccessful in their attempts, so instead they paid for advertisements in local newspapers to convince citizens to vote against the construction of 5 new libraries in the Fayetteville area. The advertisements conveyed that the libraries were in "pursuit of legitimizing homosexuality" and compared homosexuality to "prostitution, bestiality or incest...."en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heather_Has_Two_Mommies#Reception

I have a totally different take on why the ban was instituted. It was done because parents of students in the school system complained and asked them to ban the books. No politics, just concern that their kids were being taught that the only way for blacks to escape racist treatment is with the help of white folks. This is a concern for these people and their concerns are a lot more important than your politically motivated concerns.

MLK Jr. will likely be next, when Leftists discover that as a Bible-believing Christian minister he was irredeemably "homophobic."

Insanity knows no bounds. The Cleveland "Indians" have been cancelled. Next will be the Vancouver "Canucks", at least when they play on this side of the border.

One of the best explanations of Cancel Culture that you'll find.
Perhaps it would be better termed "Totalitarianism with a Smile."

The Left's latest Big Lie. Luckily there were enough idiots who went to the WH carrying their Confederate flags to make your claims of propaganda look foolish and absurd. Perhaps a different lie would have been a better choice than the one you went with.
