If lack of diversity is going to be argued, would the correct analysis be based on the ratio of the number of athletes on the team, students in the school, or population of the city?

Orange County is 2.1% black, so 79 county high schools should have 1.66 black head coaches. The solution to this obvious systemic racism is to can three of those five black head coaches and replace them with white dudes.

MDD - Should the argument be based on the make-up of the team, school, or city? The city based argument you made is being challenged.

The tweet said "black football coaches in Orange County", so the argument should be county-wide. Otherwise, all the Garden Grove high schools would have to hire Vietnamese head coaches.

I had replied to this tweet asking for the same clarification I posed here... What should the ratio be based on - population of team, school, city or county?
Crickets.
On the issue of what specific law would needed to be changed that those here in OC were marching with BLM about?
Crickets.
If the calls to defund the police included the city we live in and the resource officers of the school they teach / coach at?
Crickets.
... and these are my friends.

As the article and MDDad stated, refers to all coaches in Orange CountyCrickets. On the issue of what specific law would needed to be changed that those here in OC were marching with BLM about? Where did you ask this question previously?Crickets. If the calls to defund the police included the city we live in and the resource officers of the school they teach / coach at? Huh?Crickets. ... and these are my friends. with questions like these you may spend many a day with crickets as friends.....

Most schools have not had resource officers for some time now. Too bad. It seems a lot safer to have one on every campus but for the budget I guess.

So leave teachers and students exposed for the next shooting incident so they can have something else to march about?
Will someone be assigned at the front gate that can take the gunman's temperature to ensure they're not symptomatic before they open fire?

I agree. A first responder on every campus would be ideal. But, I am not sure what your point is here or if you are just making a statement.

The article this thread is about is making the argument that there is discrimination and a lack of diversity in the HC coaching ranks in OC.
My point is that when I pressed for specific wants on Twitter, the room went silent. Just like it did with the BLM protests, and the call to defund the police.

Post / article was on Twitter, and I was relaying my experience. Clear enough?

Since the guy who tweeted the original topic is a white media guy, maybe someone should look at the lack of diversity among Orange County H.S. sports reporters. Gotta return fire with fire when it comes to these useless virtue-signaling queries that propose no solutions. Any white person in a position of influence who attempts this act without stepping down himself and offering his job to a minority, woman, or LGBTQ is a fraud who is essentially asking others to lose their jobs for his sense of self-righteousness.
