No doubt most of you have seen the latest racial hysteria story about a "noose" that was supposedly found at Talladega in the garage of Bubba Wallace, the only black driver in NASCAR.
I'm not buying this for a second. There isn't a single case like this in recent years that didn't turn out to be a hoax.

Ok, explain why NASCAR called the FBI. Precautionary? Going through the motions? In this day and age, no action = outrage

Exactly right. The mere mention of the word "noose" will make organizations crap their pants and call the feds to investigate. It's the only way to survive.

Sure...and the FBI is taking days to figure out what's going on while you guys figured it out from a couple of Twitter posts. Yeah, that makes sense.
Truly amazing...

There are obviously white people in NASCAR who do not like blacks and vice versa.
However, if you want to demonstrate that dislike I have my doubts that putting a noose in someone's car is really how you'd express it. That's kind of the cartoon characterization of racial antipathy. Associated with white hoods, carving "KKK" somewhere, etc. It seems more likely you'd just leave a note calling the guy an a-hole or some variation.
If this was in fact a legitimate act of hatred the perpetrator has to be a prehistoric moron. As somebody asked during the Jesse Smolett case, "Who the hell even knows how to make a noose anymore?" This isn't the 19th century.
Likewise, if this was an attention getting prank, it was woefully unimaginative and mundane.......................Luca

No one with any sense can look at the photos in Credo’s linked article (in the tweet he posted) and still believe this was an act of racism. NO ONE!
those alleged nooses are in several of the garages: Mechanics tie them to the end of the door’s pull rope so they have something to grab (and, beside that, no one would have any way to know to which garage Bubba would be assigned). There is NO question of racism here.
the ONLY question remaining is, was this a purposeful misunderstanding promoted by hysteria, or a genuine mistake?

If that's a noose in that picture, it is one pathetic attempt to intimidate. Why would anyone go to all the trouble and risk to make one, and then put a one inch loop in the end? It's barely big enough to hang a Barbie doll.

If he's being threatened...OK, by all means. Until then, it's Sofa King soft.

No one with any sense would think that the "Conservative Tree House" is the place to go for accurate information about this question. Here's a thought...why don't we wait to see what the FBi says about their investigation...or you could just keep posting foolish things. You decide.

I don't know whether this was an act of hate or just a prank either, but this idea that it's a mistake by NASCAR over simple pull-down cords for the doors is just silly. You know, I don't know how to tie a noose, but I'll bet thirty seconds on the internet would tell me how. The question "who the hell knows how to tie a noose" and saying it's not the 19th Century are not your best arguments. You can do better.
