So another week is winding down and we have another handful of posts by Vilepagan where he calls various people "dumb", "stupid" or an "idiot". Some of those he is going after are public figures, some are members of this community. However, the issue is, that is his standard rejoinder when he either disagrees with someone elses political opinion or can't come up with a defense of his. It never seems to be based on an act of actual stupidity, the attempted insult just seems to be the only arrow in his quiver.
Now, a little over a week ago, Vilepagan claimed "...I only talk about how stupid people are when they reveal their intellectual deficiencies...". To legitimately make such a diagnosis, one must have a certain level of intelligence. You can only sit on the mountain & declare who is & isn't stupid if you yourself are intelligent, otherwise you are a sham. Without the qualifications to make such judgement, you are really no different than those who you are attempting to insult.
What would the qualifications be to continually consider yourself to be the arbiter of intelligence?
So unless VilePagan can present some evidence to the contrary, the only conclusion is that he is highly unqualified to comment on other peoples intelligence. He is just too dumb.

- IQ Score - While one does not necessarily need a Mensa qualifying IQ of 132 or above, it would seem fair to require it to be well above average. At least in the 120's at a minimum. Based on his 1000 plus posts on this forum, I would say VilePagan falls short. I put him at maybe 110 or so, above average, but not really bright. Of course, I could be wrong, evidence to the contrary would be gladly accepted.
- Higher Education - Not undeniable proof of intelligence, but helpful in seeing if one can navigate the pitfalls of structured learning. Of course, there is the danger of being over educated, of spending so much of your formative years in the cocoon of universities that you actually begin to get dumber. Nonetheless, I would say a 4 year degree to be needed and a Masters is additional proof. Beyond that, unless you are a doctor or lawyer, it is just mental masturbation you are engaging in. Based on his posts, my guess is VilePagan went to college but dropped out his first or second year. Of course, I may be wrong, a diploma would cause me to acknowledge an error.
- Achievements - Accomplishing things in your life, using the gifts you have to achieve things, is a sign of intelligence. No need to make millions of dollars or be famous, just more than wading through life without leaving your mark. Starting & running a company, leading an organization, being considered an expert in a field should all qualify. I have trouble seeing VilePagan even being employed, much less being really good at anything. But again, if proven wrong, I will stand corrected.
- People Skills - A person with autism may have the ability to do great or unique things, but such a social disorder gets in the way of being able to use those skills in a social setting. Not being able to read people, to get along with them or to have them feel better after having interacted with you doesn't make you stupid, but it does cut into ones qualification on what is intelligence. In this category, VilePagan fails miserably.
- Creativity - Being clever or thinking outside of the normal parameters is a wonderful gift. It opens up new avenues to get things done that others hadn't thought of. Now while VilePagan may attempt some party tricks to appear creative, over time it becomes obvious that this is nothing more than rote learning, repetition of the same few devices over & over. For example, the repetitive nature of always calling others stupid reveals an extreme lack of creativity on Vilepagans part.
So unless VilePagan can present some evidence to the contrary, the only conclusion is that he is highly unqualified to comment on other peoples intelligence. He is just too dumb.
