As if we needed it, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have illustrated the clear difference between being dumb as a rock because of age-related senility, and being dumb as rock by virtue of having been born that way. The first one is sad and pathetic, the second is not.

Truth is, her speeches are likely dumbed down so a typical jury could understand.

This woman continuously amazes me. She received a law degree from the UC system and passed the California bar. She's been the District Attorney of San Francisco, the Attorney General of California, a U.S. Senator, and Vice President of the United States. Yet evey time she speaks, she demonstrates that, along with AOC, she is one of the two dumbest human beings on Earth, just this side of chimpanzees. If she competed on Jeopardy against two average 5th-graders, she would get shut out. So when you listen to her speak, and then look at her list of positions and achievements, does it say more about her lack of intelligence, or the utter lack of intelligence it takes to achieve what she has?

Given the intellect of the jury pools I've been a part of, it's no surprise a trial lawyer would use language understandable by a 3rd grader.
Same goes for the people we put in charge to run the country.

Given the intellect of the jury pools I've been a part of... Jury members are not selected because they are stupid. Rather, they are "our peers" and reflect the American intellect at large. That's the scary part. This country as a whole has become dumber than dirt, and it's been engineered intentionally. |

Jury members are not selected because they are stupid. After thinking about that statement for a while, I have to retract it. Many jury members are chosen specifically because they are stupid enough for either the prosecution or the defense (or both) to believe that they can be swayed by some fancy courtroom slight-of-hand. |
