And here's a guy who's convinced trump is going to take his Social Security...oh my... Considering that Biden out & out said that in his acceptance speech last night, no wonder at least one person believes it. Look at the chain - Biden & the left tell a lie, people believe the lie, one guy makes a video about it, and then you pick it up off of YouTube. In essence, you are bragging that you picked up at least one voter based specifically on a lie. If the Dems told the truth, about their agenda and their opponents, they wouldn't garner over 10% of the vote.

When the Social Security Act was signed into law in 1935, the average male American worker lived about six months after he retired. As that number has increased to five years, ten years, twenty years and more, Social Security has been on terminal life support for decades. It's going to die sooner rather than later, and Trump had nothing to do with that.

You seem to be going off the path with your video selection, you are straying from the original focus of this thread. Imagining what other kinds of videos are on your computer, I hope for all of our sakes that you get back on topic. You really need to stop fantasizing about my sex life.

I hate to rain on anyone's parade, but three miles of wall in Texas and 3/4 mile in New Mexico doesn't exactly get me excited. What exactly did you expect by now?

What exactly did you expect by now? Given that a border wall with Mexico was THE tentpole promise of Trump's 2016 campaign, I expected a lot more than between five and 100 NEW miles of wall having been completed. In all fairness, this has been a major campaign promise failure.

Bullshit. - I have never expected a president to actually keep his campaign promises; and my perspective is, anyone who DOES, is just looking for a reason to disparage him.
- Even if they have only completed ONE mike, it is a darned-sight better than any other president has ever done about the problem.
- He can’t just pull it out of his hind-quarters. There’s a process he has to go through and there’s funding he has to gather and the democrat haters have not made either one of those particularly easy (or available).
In my mind, there are good reasons to criticize Trump. I don’t see this as one of them.

You can call it bullshit all you want, but there's a rule of thumb that says don't make promises you can't keep, especially when it's your biggest promise.
And no, if Trump had completed ONE mile of border wall it woud NOT have been a damned sight better than the hundreds of miles built while other administrations were in power.

Here are some wise words from Matt Vespa. Any true Republican would have never voted for Hillary Clinton. Any true Republican knows the same can be said for Biden. It makes no sense for any conservative to vote for Joe Biden. These people were never on our side, to begin with, and never were Republicans. If you cannot see that the Democrats are for leftist violence, mayhem, the destruction of capitalism, law enforcement, high taxes, more regulations, fewer jobs, and an agenda enforced by a politically correct, authoritarian ethos, then you were never one of us. We don’t want you in the party and we don’t need you in the party. Have fun with Antifa and the other left-wing terrorists flooding our cities. And shocker, it seems that none of these pro-Biden Republicans were really Republicans, to begin with, as “Michael” from Rhode Island who was featured at the DNC, is really a registered Democrat who has voted as such in four of the last five elections. townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2020/08/21/what-you-need-to-know-about-that-lifelong-republican-voting-for-biden-featured-at-the-dnc-n2574833

You’ve been harping on the wall and his campaign promise virtually since he took his oath of office. you don’t like Trump, I get that: You’ve been more than abundantly clear about your distaste. im just saying you have created a windmill to tilt at, Don Quixote.

You should not be so critical of Trump’s efforts to build the border wall. He is doing the best he can considering he has had to fight the Democrats and some Republicans every step of the way. Check out the link I posted above, you will likely be surprised at the progress.

In all fairness, this has been a major campaign promise failure. I don't know where you are getting your figures. The walls that have been, and are being, built by the Trump administration: As of 9/11/2019 there were 95.94 new miles completed. Four months later, 1/15/2020, there were an additional 98.54 miles built, bringing the total to 194.48
That was more than 7 months ago. I haven't seen a new update, but all things being equal, one could extrapolate that an additional 172.5 miles may have been built. That would bring the total to about 367 miles that may have been built. That is consistent with Trump's claim that about 400 miles will have been built by the end of 2020.

(a) I believe the vast majority of those miles are replacement walls, not new walls where none existed before, and (b) If the 367 miles are accurate, doesn't that still leave about 1,560 miles unwalled?
I guess the bottom line for me in all this is, given that this was Trump's #1 campaign promise, no one seems able to determine how much progress has been made in closing the border. There seem to be as many estimates as there are websites.
